Hewlett Packard that helped launch Silicon Valley is saying adios to California. “As we look to the future, our business needs, opportunities for cost savings, and team members’ preferences about the future of work, we are excited to relocate HPE’s headquarters to the Houston region,” CEO Antonio Neri said in a written statement Tuesday.

Wonder if good ole California will miss taxing any of that $28.9 BILLION (2019 revenue), or the 2200 (if not mistaken) jobs that will also be saying goodbye to California.

I point out again, that when i was in Californication, the pollution from the wild fires was enough to choke on, even though the prog master Gov Newbrain, has so many green new deal items. Of course if you dont clean them, the sun doesnt get to the solar cells, and the you have blackouts in cities like LA, while in Dallas where they drill for oil, the place looks like a garden of Eden with all that oil money going to make the place green and lush. Oh well, slaves will be slaves, and have to live them them too.

No surprise there. Every reason for living in CA has been absolutely obliterated with the craziness of the local government there over COVID. They are obliterating their own state and do not even seem to understand why or how.
How to spot a sociopath - 10 red flags that could save you from being swept under the influence of a charismatic nut job - NaturalNews.com
#3) Sociopaths are incapable of feeling shame, guilt or remorse. Their brains simply lack the circuitry to process such emotions. This allows them to betray people, threaten people or harm people without giving it a second thought. They pursue any action that serves their own self interest even if it seriously harms others.
#9) Sociopaths never apologize. They are never wrong. They never feel guilt. They can never apologize. Even if shown proof that they were wrong, they will refuse to apologize and instead go on the attack.
Study up on these and you can understand why Progressives do what they do...

I agree, California has become a dump thanks to Democrats. Dallas being a garden of Eden though is quite a stretch, Fort Worth certainly wasn't even close.

Of course Southern California at one time before man brought canals to it, was just a dried up desert, but those guys back in the late 1800s who dug those canals turned that place into a paradise. But those damn Democrats/Socialists/Commies all turn a paradise into a 3rd world shithole.....

Sure. Come on down here to Houston. You'll find that the reality of Texas doesn't match our right wing reputation nearly as much as it used to, and demographic changes will make that a lot easier to see in the next few years.

What!!! So you're saying taxes aren't lower in Texas? And Texas doesn't allow open carry (with a permit)?

I'm saying Texas isn't a gun nut/racist/giveaway to the rich heaven as much as it once was, and that substantial changes are already starting'

Hold your breath- and go to the suburbs and shout it from the roof tops- please.

Having just had their asses whooped hard in Texas, the left yap about turning Texas blue a month later. :auiqs.jpg:

They say that every four years and then get their asses handed to them every election. The media tried to make it convincing by holding out not calling...........all the while, trump was winning the state handily.

"You think this place is nice now...haha...You just wait until the other 6 million wetbacks get here, we're really gonna fuck the place up then."

Nobody says you have to believe it now, but you will.

Lib please Dems have been saying this for 15 years now. Demographics blah blah blah. You people really need some new talking points. Never mind businesses and people are packing up and moving out of your Dem shitholes and those stuck behind are rioting, looting, and burning. :itsok:

So you are saying flee CA because it has run aground and come to TX to turn it into CA....

You do know what Einstein said about trying the same thing over and over again right?

Then again, a couple of Great Moments in HP History:
Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak originally designed the Apple I computer while working at HP and offered it to them under their right of first refusal to his work; they did not take it up as the company wanted to stay in scientific, business, and industrial markets. Wozniak said that HP "turned him down five times", but that his loyalty to HP made him hesitant to start Apple with Steve Jobs.[21]
{..snip...}
In July 1999, HP appointed Carly Fiorina, formerly of AT&T and Lucent, as the first female CEO of a Fortune-20 company in the Dow Jones Industrial Average.[27] Fiorina received a larger signing offer than any of her predecessors.[28] Fiorina served as CEO during the technology downturn of the early 2000s and led the merger with Compaq that was "disastrous", according to CNN and led to the firing of 30,000 U.S. employees.[29] Under her leadership, the company doubled in size. Her tenure as CEO was beset by damaging leaks.[30]
