Heroes Work Here

Medical staff are required to have certain vaccinations as a condition of employment. Covid is only one of many. Why does it suddenly matter? Oh. It’s political.
An experimental vaccine, rushed into production and distribution, with concerning side-effects and questionable effectiveness ... ???
The increasing mandates (force of law) to be injected !!!

Damn right it's political.

It was political 18 months ago when we were told a couple weeks maybe a month or two of shutdowns and lockdowns and Covid will be next to gone.

It is not experimental (in fact it has been tested with several other vaccines) and it has gone through the normal testing needed for approval.

In addition we have long had vaccine mandates: for schools, healthcare workers, government workers in certain professions as well as private employers.

are they? what vaccinations are they required to have as a condition of their employment at the hosptils these folks work at?
Here is a list of requirements from before the virus for people to even volunteer at a local hospital.

More liberal unintended but perfectly predictable consequences...

Before resigning as governor, Cuomo mandated all healthcare workers in the state to get their first COVID-109 shot by Sept. 27. About 27% of Cayer's 464-person workforce, or 165 workers, are unvaccinated.

Nothing like losing a large chunk of important work force that were once considered heros who worked a full year on the frontlines WITHOUT vaccines.

Protests across the globe against mandates are forming in Britain, France, Belgium, Australia...

you keep saying that but have only shown us some recommendations from the CDC
Here are some examples (required immunization or proof of immunity)

Required Immunizations for Michigan Medicine Employees

Michigan Medicine policy 04-06-002, Infection Control Practices for Hospital Personnel: Prevention of Spread of Communicable Diseases (Michigan Medicine Internal Link only) mandates that employees and volunteers document proof of immunity/vaccination to certain communicable diseases. These include Measles, Rubella (German measles), Mumps, Varicella (chicken pox), and Pertussis. Immunity to those diseases will be documented at the new employee health assessment. If proof of immunity is not available, blood can be drawn to assess immune status or vaccine can be given.

There are also state laws governing healthcare workers such as: https://www.maine.gov/sos/cec/rules/10/144/144c264.doc

Oh the irony. You commies made it political from the start to try to oust a president, ever heard, be careful what you wish for? But my real question is why are "your scientist" ignoring natural immunity?

That may be the policy, but it won't be acceptable to many.

Are you prepared to accept with an already short staffed healthcare system to lose possibly 30% of the workforce?
You think wait times are long now?
Just wait.

so we don’t know gotcha
Nope. Don't know the specific vaccinations that are required. We do know from the link that some vaccinations are required though. There is a phone number in the link to the office that handles volunteers. Give them a call tomorrow if you need to know specifically which ones. My only purpose was to show that requiring vaccinations to work in a hospital is nothing new.
