"Texas Republican Gov. Greg Abbott is considering declaring an “invasion” along the border, so that state police could arrest and deport migrants. Former Trump administration officials say Abbott could declare an invasion by invoking two clauses in the Constitution. One clause says that the U.S. government shall protect states from invasion, while another says states cannot engage in war except when “actually invaded.” It is well-settled law that immigration enforcement is the jurisdiction of the federal government. There is no getting around this, so any plan like Abbott’s will only result in wasteful lawsuits. Then again, Abbott is no stranger to using immigration as political theater."
This will be a huge victory for Gov Abbott -- because we are being invaded by a filthy infestation of illegals who are hell bent on destroying our country....some claim the whole Russia going into Ukraine thing is an invasion, but no....these caravans of insidious wet backs coming into our country is a far far more sinister and dangerous invasion...hundreds of thousands of innocent American lives could be lost if these people aren't stopped...and Abbott is brave enough to stop them.....
I mean, an easier way to stop illegal immigration is for us to arrest the employers of illegal immigrants and throw them in the same cages we so gleefully love to see these migrants thrown in -- but that would make too many people uncomfortable...and besides, we have been demonizing these wetbacks for so long -- it wouldn't be fun to start trying to demonize hard working business owners who are being forced by Biden and the Dems to hire these illegals....also the added bonus to calling this a military invasion; is that it allows the Governor to declare war powers ....if it is indeed a war; all of us should be able to go fight at the border....if we see these enemy invaders, shoot them and defend our culture, our country, our God.....and stuff....at least until the gubernatorial election is over....
