I enjoy both genres of music. Nevertheless, society is doing what it's doing. Hopefully, individuals wake up someday and realize that government is not the end all, be all, but rather an instrument accountable to the will of the people.

Welcome to USBB and what an astute viewpoint! The voters do indeed have the reigns or well we could if we agreed more about the means to the ends…. but I don’t look for the major left/right split to end anytime soon. We peon
voters (some more or less peonish than others depending on the particulars) are intentionally divided. It’s just not something the US media talks about as it sells more hits flaming the divide. Anyway, I look forward to reading your posts particularly with your thoughts about our government being a tool err instrument (definitely sounds better) to use and not the other way around! For now many voters are still the tools. That can change!! I fall in the middle as a libertarian -on some online tests I am more right leaning and others I come up right in the middle.

DrLove One must dichotomize Hispanics as such. Cubans, prior to 1980, remain staunchly conservative politically. Other Hispanic groups tend to be more aligned with the Democratic Party, and have been for many years. The man with the short fingers, as you call him, was able to draw in the working class voter, who traditionally voted for Democratic candidates.

Don't think so - What Republicans did in Florida was pretty genius. They spent tens of millions aggressively targeting Cubans and other Hispanics who immigrated from countries with ruthless authoritarians like Castro, Noriega and Chavez.

Democrats were WAY late getting out of the gate to counter the propaganda that these socialists were exactly like US Dems.

It worked.

im afraid we cant get so excited now.up till recently Desantis has done some great things but floridans now are rightly so wondering about him now,they pay attention when someone like desantis does something that is not in their best interests and just recently he has been passing legislation that they question.He says he is against vaccines and everything but in the fine print when you read it he also put in if an emergency comes up,people should take the vaccine so he is starting to speak double speak now.its all over bitchute now.I met Lynn wood recently and he also said to BE AWARE OF DESANTIS. I think the deep state has gotten to him
