Hi! this is my first post on this message board and hopefully not my last! I am here to exchange views with all that may be interested in my own as I am interested in yours.
I am seeking a place in which I can express my beliefs without being censored. I do not use vulgarity and neither will I advocate violence against any person, country or group. That being said I must be honest with you all. I am a socialist with a small s because I am first and foremost a Christian and can never be a communist who despise religion. I do believe however in human social evolution which runs parallel to human evolution itself. The history of humankind is a march toward equality and justice in so far as that is possible on earth. Their will never be any heavens on earth however the day will come when no one will have to eat out of a garbage can or live in a cardboard box. Real freedom begins with economic justice and then extends into the political arena. I believe that poverty and despair can only be ended when all economic systems based on the evil concept of the exploitation of man by man are ended ( including capitalism ). Indeed I believe we are now seeing the seedlings of a new Proletariat ( the working poor ) who are far better educated and literate than the previous working class and who will within the next 200 years finally develop the class consciousness and courage to unite politically and seize power from the tiny minority of Billionaires who now control the earth and everyone in it. I am not a liberal, since to me liberals are nothing more than apologists for a barbaric economic system whose life blood is wage slavery. The future revolution however will not ,and must not be a violent one. Since the working poor will outnumber the handful of billionaire owners of capital all that is required is the willingness to take united political action as we saw in the civil rights movement to create a revolutionary transformation of society.
