A health care worker in Alaska had a serious allergic reaction
after getting Pfizer’s coronavirus vaccine on Tuesday,
symptoms that emerged within minutes...
The middle-aged worker had no history of allergies, but had an anaphylactic reaction
that began 10 minutes after receiving the vaccine...She experienced a rash over her face and torso,
shortness of breath and an elevated heart rate.
the worker was first given a shot of epinephrine, a standard treatment for severe allergic reactions.
Her symptoms subsided but then re-emerged, and she was treated with steroids and an epinephrine drip.
When doctors tried to stop the drip, her symptoms re-emerged yet again,
so the woman was moved to the intensive care unit...
Experts described the woman’s symptoms as potentially life-threatening,
and said that they may prompt calls for tighter guidelines to ensure
that recipients are carefully monitored for adverse reactions.
the requirement that recipients remain in place for 15 minutes after getting the vaccine
helped ensure the woman was quickly treated....
CDC has recommended that the vaccine be administered in settings that have supplies,
including oxygen and epinephrine, to manage anaphylactic reactions.
The Alaska woman’s reaction was believed to be similar to the anaphylactic reactions
two health workers in Britain experienced after receiving the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine last week.
The vaccine comes with information warning that medical treatment should be available
in case of a rare anaphylactic event
Health care providers were warned not to give the vaccine to anyone
with a “known history of a severe allergic reaction” to any component of the vaccine
the vaccine is recommended to be administered in settings
that have access to equipment to manage anaphylaxis.
the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said that people with serious allergies
can be safely vaccinated, with close monitoring for 30 minutes after receiving the shot.

a type of facial paralysis also reported by participants in the Pfizer trial.
Moderna reported four cases of Bell’s palsy, including three among people who had the vaccine
and 1 in the placebo group. The company said that three of the cases had resolved itself.
Pfizer reported six cases of Bell’s palsy, including 4 in the vaccine arm,
Thirteen people who participated in the trial died, six who received the vaccine
and seven who received the placebo.
The death rate during the trial was in line with death rates in the general population
for patients of this age, the documents said.
There was only one COVID-19 related death, a patient who received the placebo.

If the 13 people who participated in the trial and died wasn't out of the ordinary for people 'that age'
because it was 'in line with death rates in the general population for patients of this age'
could only mean these 13 people were OLD...
So, why are old people who died during the trial see as 'in line with death rates', to be expected,
but the elderly accounting for the majority of 'Covid deaths'...and I say that begrudgingly, it's different
Furthermore, Covid was only responsible for 1 of those 13 deaths...tell me, how is this plausible
