That wasn't gibberish the "signer" was spouting - it was old Obama campaign speeches being repeated for the benefit of tens of thousands of deprived South Africans who had never previously had the opportunity to hear them!

The man also failed to indicate that the crowd was booing Jacob Zuma.

BTW, I thought the Secret Service checked out every person who gets anywhere hear the President. They look into his background, associations, past records etc., pretty intensively. And usually far in advance, though that isn't always possible between the date of Mandela's death and the scheduling of this memorial pep rally.

But this fake deaf-signer was literally within inches of the President of the United States on that stage... and nobody even knows who he is???
