Have sanctions against Russia boomeranged?

What you are describing is the result of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, not the result of the sanctions. There is no basis in fact or logic for claiming the current economic problems the world is dealing with are the result of the sanctions.
Really, why are leaders like Biden blaming Putin for inflation and high gas prices? That only exists because of failed sanctions. Try again.

First, both the PM and Deputy PM have complained that both the Russian economy and the Russian war effect are being damaged by the sanctions, so "failed sanctions" makes no sense. Second, although Biden's policies are also partly to blame for US inflation, the Russian invasion of Ukraine is completely responsible for higher gas and oil prices, and there is no basis for blaming these on the sanction. Russian gas and oil exports have not been sanctioned.

Failed sanctions because they did nothing to stop or slow the special military operation, as intended. No matter how much the West pretends otherwise. That is the failure along with the boomerang effect that is hurting those who aren't even direct participants.

The US banned Russian oil, stop lying. Russian gas and oil would have flowed normally without the sanctions. You folks will do anything to protect your fantasies that the West didn't screw this whole thing up and are somehow being effective in their pointless continued endeavors.

You apparently don't understand what the word, sanctions, means. The US did block the importation of Russian oil into the US, but if it had sanctioned the sale of Russian oil then any company anywhere in the world that purchased Russian oil would be banned from doing business in the US or using US financial systems. Clearly, the US did not sanction the sale of Russian oil.

According to both the Russian Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Minister, the sanctions have already put the Russian economy into a decline and put the Russian war effort in jeopardy, so clearly the sanctions are working.

The US has no such authority to do as you say. Even if it did, such a stupid idea would destroy the US economy in a week. You folks are funny.

Western economies are reeling due to failed sanctions, and none of them are direct participants. That is not how sanctions are supposed to work, unless you have some historical information that says otherwise. The West failed, time to cut our losses and move on.

Your ignorance is just overwhelming. These are the same kind of sanctions the US has been leveling on Iran for many years and that were ratcheted up by Trump and reduced the Iranian economy to near bankruptcy before Biden rescued it.

Except our sanctions on Iran don't negatively effect us you moron. Your ignorance on understanding positive and negative effects of policy is staggering.

Again, there is no basis in fact or logic for contending the sanctions have had a negative effect on the US economy. The problems the US economy is dealing with arise from many causes, but not from the sanctions.

Other than the words of our own leaders? You're a joke. Bye.

"Biden asked the President of Indonesia to exclude Russia from the G20 in response to HIS. Instead, Widodo flew to Moscow and signed two major deals: one in the amount of $13 billion for the construction of the Rosneft refinery, and the other with Russian Railways, for the construction of 190 km of track"
