About a struggling musician in England who gets hit by a bus and when he comes to, no one has ever heard of the Beatles. So he starts recording Beatle songs as his own and becomes the biggest rock star in the world!

Has anyone seen this movie?

Note: Towards the end, he meets a 70 year old John Lennon.

It was like the writer couldn't figure out how to end the movie so he fashioned a confession.

It was watchable and nice tunes

Also liked how they never heard of Coca Cola

Since Lennon was senile at 30, obviously they had to lie and fake a lot with a portrayal of him as a 70 year old.

Yes and I and thought it was very good. It's a bit of fantasy as a rather second rate musical awakes in a world where the Beetle never existed and he along knows all the music. If fantasy is not your thing and you're not turned on by the Beetles then it's probably not for you.

He seemed very bright

Of course he did; They would definitely have to fake that, otherwise all the diope addled Stuck In The 60's bubblegummers terrified of being drafted and having to do something besides cash checks from home and indulging in the permanent search for weed and acid wouldn't have bought tickets to see it; the last thing Hollywood needs is reality creeping into their product, especially one built around marketing a major songbook by an upgraded barbershop quartet aimed at 12 year olds market.

Who are you in to? ABBA? Starland Vocal Band? Stones?

The cool kids were listening to Johnny Cash, John Coltrane, Miles Davis, etc. It was just you faggots listening to the Beatles, peeing yourselves along with 11-12 year old girls and the tone deaf. AM radio was still big then, and the sound range was crap, so the radio stations always focused on the high ranges, which was right in tune with their market demographics.

They did have maybe three decent songs, Eleanor Rigby, Paperback Writer, and one off of Rubber Soul I can't remember now.
