from the onset, let me state that the democrats also have their own problems.....but not nearly as many as the GOPers.

First, the major problem for republicans is the ever-increasing number of minority voters and, conversely, the ever-decreasing number of older, white, less-educated, evangelical (overly-religious) voters.
While not always fond of democrats, Latinos, blacks, LGBT, better educated young people seem to have more distrust of the GOP .

Second, in this year's presidential election, the expectation is for a much higher voters' turnout than what was witnessed in the 2010 and 2014 cycle.............The GOP will have to defend 28 senate seats....a huge challenge in a voters' climate that ranks used car-salespersons' ethics higher than that of congress members.

Third, the implosion that has occurred within the GOP...as witnessed by the huge number and diversity views of republican candidates for the oval office......is a growing cancer for the once grand ol' party.

Yup, I've always said on this board and the other one (which apparently I can't mention but it was Way Oh Hell) the Republicans are eating their own.

Great topic on BIll Maher last night: Doing away with Iowa as a caucus state since it is 1) White 2) Evangelical and 3) No Black or Brown people. California or Florida would be better options to represent the U.S. as a whole. Iowa is just fly-over country with corn and snake-handlers chattering in church, i.e. Michelle Bachmann was the winner of the Strawman Vote and notice they've stopped having that.

You dipsticks are admitting the Democrats are a racist party, relying on race for votes. The other factor (beyond your scope) is the aging demographics and people do turn more conservative as they mature. Plus many young people these days are not seeing the opportunity their parents had.

You dipsticks are trying to deny that minorities exist, but they're not that minor anymore if you care to join us in the real world. Reality is gonna' smack you silly.

Stupid response.....Minorities EXIST and the GOP refuses to represent their interests and values....simple as that.

That's a lie. The left wing treats minorities like needy children. The right wing treats them as equals.

Yes indeed. A Party that runs an old Socialist and a felon for President really does have its problems.

It should be California and Texas seeing both states are actually Minority-Majority states and Florida is not.

You're asking Nat to "be specific" and you make a blatantly stupid statement like this ^^^^^? Who pushed for voter ID/fraud laws when there were none? Who did the laws affect?

Look up Karl Rove and Tim Griffin and "hanging chads" on the ballots in Florida, circa 2000. And get back to us if you can, idiot.

Voter ID is discrimination? LOL. Wrong girl. It's to help prevent illegals from voting, illegal isn't a race. Hanging chads were discrimination? What's Rove got to do with it? Was the the deciding supreme court judge that said the Florida Democrats were full of shit?

Look it up and see who it affects. You obviously are clueless. I gave you the search terms, now get off your lazy ass and learn.

And if you're too lazy, just dial back to the debate Thursday night and how ALL OF THEM won't commit or have waffled on immigration. They don't dare piss off their lily-white base. Chickenshits.
