Germany is no longer majority Nazi(?), but the new Leftist-leader elect of Greece took pains to reject an ordination-level swearing-in, and then set off to visit the anti-Nazi war memorial. The Bible and Greek Orthodox clergy were not at all engaged. Economic stringency may turn to a populist, 99% kind of basis in the land of Western Democracy origins.

All of this comes as the GOP meets to wonder what to try to salvage next. Likely the Democrats will field new candidates who can correctly identify the President of the United States. George Wallace and Richard Nixon turned out to be the wrong answers. Some of the Democratic candidates may even be able to correctly claim, next time out, that in fact they had voted for Hillary in the primary elections.

The economy is likely to be a strong Democratic issue in 2016, electing likely way more Democrats than Republicans. Clever Greeks already may have noticed.

Those Greeks are going to be in for a shock when they find this new guy can't deliver on his promises. Greece will likely be thrown off the Euro and their currency will tank leaving them with no jobs, hper-inflation and lingering debt to other European nations.

"Je Suis PEGIDA," complete with German torchlight propaganda parades, is mostly easily said: To not at all be about Iowa. In Germany, it's raising the fringes of all hell and imagery.
PEGIDA s anti-Muslim calls shake up German politics - Yahoo News

The world had turned sufficiently for Marco Rubio, the U. S. Senator, to wonder why Obama didn't want to join with anti-Islamic sentiments in France. The press-suppressing leaders were all attending, after all(?). CrusaderFrank poster is easily said to be one of those. Easy it is to ignore the German, political right. So Far, a Senator Rubio demanding a U. S. foreign policy, in support of free-press suppression. . . . is the best the GOP has to offer(?)! In fact, President Obama did not attend the events in Paris. Senator Rubio's kind went instead. Maybe one of them sent CrusaderFrank a "Wish You Were Here," card.

There were elected Democrats, at State of the Union, holding up pencils(?)! "We have them, too(?)," maybe they were expressing(?)! Euro-Nationalism is back on agenda, and raising the center German eyebrows.

A worker-friend, anti-austerity movement has won in Greece. In the United States, soon enough the majority will be approving the economy, their own places in it, and the liberals running with it at their backs.

(Anti-Islamic PEGIDA maybe look really populist and cool, to GOP!)

Do you have any earthly idea how very FEW people have participated in PEGIDA demos? And are you aware that for each PEGIDA demo, there is a counter demo that is on the order of 30 to 50 TIMES larger, each time, right in the city where the PEGIDA demo is?

Germany is a country of 81 million people. We are talking about, at the max, 8,000 people total. And not all of them are German citizens. But the very fact that the are allowed to protest (as long as they don't break §130-131 of German Civil Code) and that counter-demonstrators are also allowed to show up on the same street on the same day - shows was a vibrant Democracy Germany has today.

And you are aware that PEGIDA is not = to NAZI, right? They are right-oriented, but they are not Nazis. A few of them probably are, but the majority: no.

Even the link notes that the leader resigned after doing his famous impersonation of the other Leader, who led the Nazis. The OP point is a turn from the right--a turn to the left--not entirely in support of the 1% at all, or even the euro-austerity center. The likely liberal shift in the United States is possibly, likely, already underway. After State of the Union, Senator Ernst appears to have created the basis GOP two-year agenda. 50 more votes to repeal ObamaCare--with a Romney "Replace" agenda even suggested--seems to be what they are for, all over again.

"Now let's create a "0.5%" is likely not going to resonate, even in Iowa, or even in New Orleans.

(100 years ago, the brave 681, all adults, in the San Fernando Valley: Voted to become part of City of Los Angeles. My own grandfather would be able to drop his own lawsuit against Mulholland-- LA City water would be legal, all of a sudden, even in the San Fernando Valley. History would show that the lawyers did get their revenge, however, basically. . . ."litigating," on behalf of millions. A desert paradise was suddenly born(?)!)

Greece has let their inner retard show. Much like the left here they think they can keep on spending without consequence. Less than a year and they will once again be a failed state only this time will anyone step up to bail them out? That's going to be a hard sell since they voted to not pay back what they already owe.

Greece is rejecting austerity, more likely. History tends to show that Western Civilization is relatively clueless about the arithmetic of how a credit-based economy actually thrives. The first credit was likely barley. A loan of three bags would be repaid with four, more or less. That first usury would be said benign. It would be said to have set humans thriving along with one another with a stable food supply. An Educated Man out of Egypt, Moses, would ban usury in Israel--maybe the first austerity. Charging foreigners the usury would be called acceptable. Before that, Hammurabi had allowed the debtor to simply sell off the wife and kids, into slavery--for a few years. The austerity of Moses would be said compare and contrast with the relatively benign plan of Hammurabi. The wife and kids got clothed, housed, and fed. The debtor was free to start up again. Israel was told to rot, and essentially "screw 'em!" instead.

Educated people out of Egypt, even then. . .Many would say!

(Lands of Many Nations now offer firewater to former White Eyes captors, as well-intentioned gesture of economic friendship!)
