The Bible and Greek Orthodox clergy were not at all engaged. Economic stringency may turn to a populist, 99% kind of basis in the land of Western Democracy origins.

All of this comes as the GOP meets to wonder what to try to salvage next. Likely the Democrats will field new candidates who can correctly identify the President of the United States. George Wallace and Richard Nixon turned out to be the wrong answers. Some of the Democratic candidates may even be able to correctly claim, next time out, that in fact they had voted for Hillary in the primary elections.

The economy is likely to be a strong Democratic issue in 2016, electing likely way more Democrats than Republicans. Clever Greeks already may have noticed.

Do you have any earthly idea how very FEW people have participated in PEGIDA demos? And are you aware that for each PEGIDA demo, there is a counter demo that is on the order of 30 to 50 TIMES larger, each time, right in the city where the PEGIDA demo is?

Germany is a country of 81 million people. We are talking about, at the max, 8,000 people total. And not all of them are German citizens. But the very fact that the are allowed to protest (as long as they don't break §130-131 of German Civil Code) and that counter-demonstrators are also allowed to show up on the same street on the same day - shows was a vibrant Democracy Germany has today.

And you are aware that PEGIDA is not = to NAZI, right? They are right-oriented, but they are not Nazis. A few of them probably are, but the majority: no.

Greece has let their inner retard show. Much like the left here they think they can keep on spending without consequence. Greece is rejecting austerity, more likely. History tends to show that Western Civilization is relatively clueless about the arithmetic of how a credit-based economy actually thrives. The first credit was likely barley. A loan of three bags would be repaid with four, more or less. That first usury would be said benign. It would be said to have set humans thriving along with one another with a stable food supply. An Educated Man out of Egypt, Moses, would ban usury in Israel--maybe the first austerity. Charging foreigners the usury would be called acceptable. Before that, Hammurabi had allowed the debtor to simply sell off the wife and kids, into slavery--for a few years. The austerity of Moses would be said compare and contrast with the relatively benign plan of Hammurabi. The wife and kids got clothed, housed, and fed. The debtor was free to start up again. Israel was told to rot, and essentially "screw 'em!" instead.

Educated people out of Egypt, even then. . .Many would say!
