As a guitarist, I always found Hendrix to be sloppy a lot of the time; same with Jimmy Page. Obviously, Jimi's approach to playing guitar changed the game forever, but he just wasn't a clean player...

I watched Atkins play right after it was claimed he was too perfect. For the first time, I heard him buzz a free. He looked surprised at the "mistake". Funny, when that same bar came along later in the song, the same string buzz happened and the same surprise was registered.,
