governor pardons missour couple who protecting themselves against blm

clean record for them. should never been in touble in the first place.
There was never any doubt, this was the way to go, especially with no shots fired and being on their own property. If I am not mistaken, the crowd had already broken through the gate of this gated community. It would not be my chosen way to go, for home defense and weapons handling was loose by most standards, but nothing to write home about and certainly nothing to be prosecuted over. Even at this, I suspect this couple has still been on the hook for bail, attorney fees and costs, they never should have been subjected to.

You can't accept a pardon for a crime that wasn't committed. It's a tacit admission of guilt.

Sorry kid. That the way it works.

They pleaded guilty to misdemeanor charges in June, so crimes were committed.

Their record is completely clean and they never admitted guilt, nor does their court record show that they were.
While it disappoints me to agree with Crepitus, Crepitus is correct. No pardon, whether Presidential or Governor, eliminates any crime committed. It only says they are free to go back to their lives. They did have to pay a fine, which they did. That in itself, just like paying a traffic ticket, is an admission of guilt, to some degree. The important thing is that they can go back to their lives as if this never happened......AND......get to keep their firearms for the next Communist mob.
Back when this all occurred, they should have just stayed in their homes, recording the actions of the mob and if the mob broke windows and otherwise damaged their property, they would have had ample evidence for an arrest and if the mob literally broke into their home, then they could have gunned them down as they came in.
In the Supreme Court case of Ex Parte Garland, The Supreme Court ruled that being pardoned releases the punishment and blots out the existence of guilt. BUT.....in this case they accepted the misdemeanor charge and paid the fine. The pardon wasn't for the misdemeanor, but rather the more serious charge of "assault." The misdemeanor remains on the books.

You can argue scemantics all you want but at the day of the day they have a clean record.

Not sure why you're trying to inject personal opinion into this as if it were fact just for the sake of shitting on the thread. Guess someone had a bad day and needs to go online to shit on something for a cheap sense of self satisfaction.

It's not a personal opinion. Remember when Arpio turned down tRump's pardon? That was because it was an admission of guilt.

I disagree. The mob went to this neighborhood to instill fear and intimidate. They got it right back. Good job, Mckloskys.
