I bet you cheer for Utah when they play BYU

Trump didn't win, so it sounds like they've learned something
Sure thing dickhead. They voted for a clown that looks like Eddie Munster and wants a theocracy. OH BOY!

They also voted for Santorum the last time and Huckabee the time before that.

Shows you how relevant Iowa is in choosing the candidate

Marco Rubio will be the Republican nominee. I said that months ago

Don't really care for either team.

Did you also predict either A. A tea party candidate that makes it at LEAST a 3 way race OR B. Another republican loss regardless of democratic nominee? Its laughable a GOP candidate that's for Amnesty..because ya know that's worked so well for Willard and McAmnesty

There was enough close votes for most of the posters to be comfortable with their candidate's performance. Keeping in mind how meaningful this caucus is (or isn't), there are many more primaries ahead for each candidate to learn what they need to, to make their next bite of the apple more fruitful.

Even New Hampshire is not that important in terms of delegates, but it gives candidates momentum. That;s about it.

The best part is, now the fervor for the anti-establishment GOP candidate will die down and turn out will be horrendous. THAT is what the GOP establishment has been so worried about with trump. Once he, if he does, it is still early, leaves the field there is a huge deflating of the desire to turn out to vote in the general. Many Republicans will resign themselves to 'its just another party wonk' who is the nominee. Everyone else running for the GOP looks like a boring politico compared to trump.

Yeeeouch.

Trump has almost set up a no-win scenario for the GOP.

Yes, the loss regardless of Democratic nominee would be Donald Trump

I think the interesting part of tonight's election, was that over 50% of the Gopers voting, voted ANTI-ESTABLISHMENT. They are sending a message that the party is done. Now we have Trump, or Cruz or maybe Rubio. But if the Republican party is arrogant enough that they don't see the writing on the wall, we will be looking at the most corrupt administration or socialism overtaking this beautiful country of ours. I just can't imagine that happening.

Ronald Reagan had the most corrupt administration ever, by magnitudes of degree. 138 of his administration were indicted. No one, even if they were Satan himself, could challenge Reagan's corruption.

No matter, I think the Republicans cannot win now. It was a stretch to begin with, but if trump drops out and that enthusiasm goes with him, then no chance.

We can't put that much weight into tonight's election. It was really minor. Trump has to learn some lessons and this was a good playground to learn some of those lessons.

People have the right to run for president. The GOP didn't pick the candidates available to Iowan voters and the GOP certainly didn't force the Iowans to vote the way they did. Everyday Americans spoke in Iowa not the GOP

Get a grip

Trump nor Cruz--don't have a snowballs chance of winning the White House. That's what Republicans are finally thinking about, and that's why we're seeing Marco Rubio come in 3rd in Iowa. I imagine his strength and support will skyrocket after this showing in Iowa.

Trump & his supporters have successfully chased off 17% of the population, Hispanics, when Republicans needed at least 46% of this block to win the White House. Trump is polling at a Negative 75%. Now add in Muslims and Jews and Trump would lose in a total wipe-out.
GOP Win Will Need More Than 40 Percent Of Latino 2016 Vote, Says Study
Latino conservatives: If Donald Trump is the nominee, we will not work to elect him
Poll: 75% of Latinos Have Negative View of Donald Trump

Ted Cruz is a joke. He's too far right, Independents nor women would ever vote for him, and he would get creamed in a National Election. Plus being born in Canada is the final nail in his campaign coffin.

Marco Rubio--can attract Independents, hopefully get Hispanics back, and some women. But he's still going to have an uphill battle to defeat Hillary Clinton, but at least he has a chance.
Let’s Elect Hillary Now

Got that right, I will NOT vote for any GOP candidate other than Trump. Did the same in thing in 2008 and 2012. I simply don't care. I will vote Sanders before I vote any other GOP candidate for president. If neither Trump nor Sanders gets nomination then it will be 3rd party or hell I might just stay the hell home, have a few beers and watch this country go down in flames by electing the most arrogant self centered bitch on earth, and its hard to beat Obama at that.
