GOP Policy Mistakes are Responsible for our Current Fiscal Crisis

Title says it all:

Reagan started the era of Big Deficits. Reagan borrowed an insane amount of $$ and pumped it into the economy (just like Bush and Trump did, do we see a pattern here?).
After Bill Clinton started to right the ship for our fiscal future, Bush and the idiot GOP took over in 2000.

Bush and the GOP inherited a balanced budget with a projected surplus. They immediately passed massive tax cuts for the ultra wealthy that did little to stimulate growth, AND big spending bills that squandered the surplus. Then we had the biggest economic collapse since the Great Depression 7 years into GWB failed presidency. Also the GOP's failed wars wasted Trillions.

Bush inherited a fine situation, and he passed off a totally ruined economy with epic debt problems. Obama inherited an economy in ruin with epic deficits, losing 900k jobs a month. Nobody has ever inherited such a bad economy in US history.

When Trump took over the US was running a $587 B annual deficit. Trump doubled that to $1.1 Trillion in just a few years before covid. Trump failed covid response resulted in Trillions of wasted $$. Trump left a country in fiscal ruin, even before Biden took over. trump never had a great economy, only a slightly better than average one. Trump had weak, low growth, just like Obama.

The deficit is a major problem and GOP policy fuck ups have greatly caused out current fiscal abomination. Reagan's wild reckless tax cuts and spending. Bush's wild and reckless tax cuts and spending with little economic benefit to show. Trump's wild tax cuts and spending with only 2.6% GDP growth (barely better than Obama) AND THEN Trump's failed covid response. These are the major causes of today's overwhelming deficits

The deficit grew a lot under Obama, but the bulk of that was in Obama's first term when he inherited the Great Bush crash, which led to massive tax revenue short falls. Obama had spending issues of his own, but the Bush crash was the main reason the deficit was so bad. In Obama's 2nd term, the annual deficit dropped and was only $587 B in 2016.

Biden has said tough shit and decided to take the Reagan, Bush, Trump route of massive spending. He is just doing what the GOP did, at this point it doesn't matter, the genie is out of the bottle.

that's total babbleshit ..it's ALL those MOFOS fault --Dem and R
Republicans are substantially more to blame.

Bush inherited a balanced budget and projected surplus and he destroyed the economy.

Bush was the big turning point. The GOP fucked that up
Clinton was forced to sign near balanced budgets with gnashing teeth, thanks to Newt and the GOP.

BJ threw a fit and forced government shutdowns over it. Don’t pretend he had a say in the balanced budget.
Clinton was the reason for the balanced budget.
The same GOP congress were the ones that blew up the deficit and sent us to War in Iraq.

Bush and the GOP decimated America, just like Trump did with his mega failures.

If you voted for Bush and Trump you should be thrown in Gitmo for treason, OR sterilized for stupidity to eliminate your stupid genes from the gene pool.
Did you sleep through the Clinton Presidency? Clinton never balanced a budget and he certainly wasn't responsible for the deficit being as low as it was during his Administration. Does the Dot Com Boom and the Contract With America ring a bell with you?
the only people who came out of the CLINTON era well------were the Clintons.-----I forecast
that the same phenomenon will HAPPEN to the Bidens

The president doesn't spend the money, he only signs the checks. LBJ created the incredible mess of "the great society" that we have been dealing with for fifty years. The fraudulent policy inherent in Fannie Mae was created during the Clinton administration when the government forced banks to make bad loans which were bundled with good loans and sold to lending institutions as good loans. The disaster in the economy in '08 happened during a republican presidency but with a newly elected democrat majority in congress. Democrat Barney Frank became chairperson of the powerful House Banking Committee that had oversight responsibility for Fannie Mae and Fannie collapsed on his watch. With the cooperation of the liberal media democrats have been getting away with blaming republican presidents for their own crazy fiscal policies for the better part of a hundred years and of course the true believers eat it up like pablum.

Go ahead and throw Bush in jail if you want. But you’d have to throw Hillary and the Hussein in as well, not to mention Biden and Kerry who voted for the war and have always been in lock step with the Washington Establishment on war.

President Trump on the other hand destroyed ISIS without invading a new country, he just defunded it. He cut down military forces to 2500 in Afghanistan and Iraq, and was planning full withdraw. He refused to do a Regime Change war in Syria while CNN, the Democrats, and most of the GOP were begging him to do it.

President Trump May have run up the deficit m but at least we got something out of it, the best economy we’ve ever seen as well as no new wars.

You really are clueless. Bush didn't inherit balanced budgets. What he inherited from Clinton was an economy already in decline as the Dot Com boom wound down and then Bush was hit with 9/11. Bush didn't "crash" the economy! What crashed the economy was all of the liar loans that had made our housing market vulnerable to a crash...something that Bush warned Congress about long before it happened and he was attacked by the Democrats for saying so!

Both parties suck at being fiscally responsible. Post all the cherry picked graphs you want but it is Democrats who have lately had absolutely no limits to spending.
