If the goal in Iraq was to create a Constitutional right wing theocracy based on Islam that forced women into Burkas, then it worked beyond our wildest dreams.

Republican failures? Hardly. They were both in pretty good shape when Obama took over. If you are going to attack the war efforts there is no way that Obama wouldn't be implicated. You and MSNBC are both complete partisan hacks but it seems that MSNBC at least understand some undeniable truths.

Iraq and Afghanistan were done, even with mistakes, to a high level of success.... It is not for us to make puppet governments or whatever.. it was up to the people of both countries to finalize their own form of a freely made government...

Iraq and Afghanistan were done, even with mistakes, to a high level of success.... It is not for us to make puppet governments or whatever.. it was up to the people of both countries to finalize their own form of a freely made government...

Obama followed the operation on a daily basis..gave direction..and quarreled with the "Generals" on how to whack him. They even fought about when to do it.

Aside from flying in on his own and whacking Osama himself..he had a great deal to do with it.

Do you think the moderators, who obviously chose the questions the from an Obama campaign fact sheet, wanted someone to point out that Obama is following Bush's plan in Iraq, and that he is planning on totally breaking his promise to bring everyone home? Or that he actually is on a pace to have more deaths in Afghanistan than Bush did in his whole term?

I don't think rdean understands that few, if any, of the current candidates had anything to do with President Bush's decision in Afghanistan or Iraq. They are President Bush's decision.

He doesn't seem to realize that if the moderator brought it up that all of them would have a completely clean slate while Obama would be extremely vulnerable since he is continuing many of the President's positions.

He just wants to blindly attack Republicans. It's a shame. I'm sure if he used his mind he could do alot of good if he wanted to.
