Be more accurate.. Holding perpetrators at gunpoint to be collected by the police -- doesn't happen 3000 times a day.. All manner of defensive gun use might... But even I think that number is a bit high as it is dredged from govt reporting that is notoriously faulty...

Aint ANY numbers coming out of DC ever that aren't subject to interpretation or whacky definitions of terms...
