RIP. At least her son survived.

Naya Rivera, best known as an actress for her work on Glee, is missing. Rivera, 33, had taken a trip to Lake Piru in California with her four-year-old son. She was last seen around 1 p.m. on Wednesday while renting the boat. Rivera and her son were seen together. Around four hours later, the pontoon boat was spotted drifting by another boater. Rivera was nowhere to be found and her son, Josey, was wearing a life vest and sleeping.

The Ventura County Sheriff's Department began searching for Naya Rivera on Wednesday but was unable to find her. It is presumed she drowned at this time.

That is sad. What part of "Do Not Swim Alone" do young people not understand? Having only your 4 year old with you is swimming alone. Now the kid has lost his mom. They could have both been lost.

I don't disagree. Apparently that reservoir is shunned by locals as being too dangerous to get in because of sudden whirlpools with water coming in and out.

Stupid people are stupid.

San Luis pass in Galveston can be extremely dangerous when the tides change and there are signs everywhere warning of those dangers.
Yet people die there every year.
I gigged flounder there for decades and knew the dangers and took them seriously. The bottom changes constantly, one step your still in 6 inches of water, the next you're in a 15 foot drop off with extremely fast currents.
And all they needed to do was wear a life preserver.

A chance that her son was found safe and sound because she has still not been found, accident, suicide, others?
Here is the video surveillance where we see what is happening at the left when her car arrived and then we can see which she "seems" to carry a big heavy white bag and then we can see her rents her boat and that the people they spoke to her come back after the boat leaves and after it's the mystery
