Germany's Hitlerian Tactics In The Name Of Being Anti-Hitler

Nazism didn't die with the fall of the Third Reich. Many loyal Nazis would have loved to revive the Nazi ethos after the fall of Hitler. Germany took draconian steps to outlaw Nazi speech, Nazi symbols, and Nazi gestures after the war to deprive those who wanted to bring back Nazism something they could rally around.

Nazism did so much damage to Germany, and the rest of Europe, that it had to be crushed out.

Yes, it is illegal to draw or wear a swastika or give a Hitler salute here in Germany. Germans gave up their right to freedom of speech in the name of political correctness, which is why we shouldn't care what their opinions are on anything.

While there are some restrictions it is not generally forbidden to talk in favor of Hitler and the Third Reich. Germans have freedom of speech but they don´t notice it. Most are quite unpolitical.

Dafuq is "generally forbidden" mean. You're saying they limit free speech and are only entitled to a government approved history and manner of behaving.

Yea, that's what liberals love to tell us. It was all for the greater good. Yet, fascism abounds.

The restrictions:
- No Hitler salute (unless its Ave Cesar, Ave Cesar is fine in Germany)
- No NS symbols (unless its documentary or not visible in the public. More precise: your swastika flag may not bee seen from outside the open door or the windows)
- No Holocaust denial
- No incitement to violence of any kind

Special offer:
If you want your documentary to be recognized as such, you need to mention somewhere how bad Hitler and the Third Reich were.

However, people are free to express their love for Hitler and the Third Reich anyhow but by the mentioned points. There is no law prohibiting that.

I don't care how bad Hitler and the 3rd Reich allegedly were. Using fascist laws to denounce fascism is counter intuitive. If you have a righteous, industrious society, this is not needed. If there was any justification for it, it would have been in a martial law scenario. I'm not even a fan of that though, tbh.

What the Nazis did goes way beyond fascism. It was an unprecedented evil in modern times and deserves to be obliterated from history

I don´t understand it either and it has worsened as if closeness to the Third Reich would grow and not shrink. Adenauer hailed the heroism of the Wehrmacht in the Parliament, today they interpret particularly the annihilation of Dresden as liberation. Of course, if they´d run reasonable policies such bans would be totally unnecessary. It is all about to present the current policies as only alternative to the otherwise inevitable Nazism and war.

Evil acts are the logical conclusion to fascism.
