Germany: defying confinement, a centenarian escapes from her residence to see her daughter

Coronavirus or not, the 101-year-old old lady escaped from her Ehpad on Monday afternoon via the emergency exit, the police said. Found wandering the street by a patrol, she began by denying living in this nearby residence, claiming to live with her daughter.
The police then took her to her home. She then revealed to them that the centenary had been living well in this center for two weeks. But "she missed her daughter very much," said the police.
The elderly lady "was able to at least see her daughter briefly from the police car," said officials, before being taken back to her retirement home.
