Who said he was a Hero? He's a criminal and the cops a murderer. There has to be a policy to allow good cops to report bad cops without fear of a leak or retaliation. The looters are exactly that looters, not protestors. You can tell the difference because the real protestors want to have a conversation with good cops and work together to find a strategy to stop bad cops. Real protestors support good cops in arresting criminals. It's not about George specifically its about an idea of a cop having a higher responsibility when he took on this duty as a civil servant. A good cop with handle a criminal without the criminal dying as a result.

It's often not the cop being bad but the cop making the wrong split second decision. That was not the the case with Floyd but it's not uncommon. I was a member of a state policy auxiliary and rode with officers twice a week. There was never anything like the Floyd incident but there were a couple of times that the officer had to draw his gun. It all happens in a spit second. The gun comes out, the person at other end of the gun had reached for a wallet, or comb or whatever. If the officer had perceives that it was a gun, he would have fired. It is so easy to make a mistake. Thankfully, when it happened, the officer was able to determine that it was not a weapon.

I would never be a police officer. The responsibility far outweighs the benefits.

I meant my most recent post. Just had my knee scoped on Fri. Had to take a COVID test. Negative. Shocking. Trump is many things.
