He can't be convicted of 2nd degree, because he didn't show up with the intent of committing another crime....That's what 2nd degree murder is.

As big of a total douchebag that Ellison is, he can't be this stupid.

It only takes a minute beforehand for premeditation to occur. Chauvin obviously thought about murder a lot during those 8 minutes on his neck.

He pretty clearly not only had time to think about the fact that he didn't give a damn if the guy lived or died, but actually DID think about it, since you can hear people on the video suggesting he should get off the guy, and him refusing.

You know, I think that the three that were arrested after the first cop are going to more than likely going to be found innocent. On the news today, they were talking about their chances for jail, and it was noted that the 2 cops on Floyd (his back and holding his feet) were rookie cops, they had only been on the force for a short, and after they noticed he was going limp, both of them asked if they should roll him over. The dude with his knee on his neck said no.

That will damn the dude with the knee on his neck, but will more than likely allow the others to go free.
