This is not a nanoessay -- rather a vent expressing my emotions about Gender and Politics. These emotions have not changed much since the time Al Gore had 5-10 point lead over George Bush. That lead, and the Recount brought me great distress for most of that Summer and Fall.
I agree with Liberals on about 80% of issues. I support Welfare State. I support Humane Socialism. I believe in Equality of all people.
But I can not be a Liberal since they support Discrimination Against Men much more then Conservatives. Conservatives view men's Gender Role as Providers and Protectors. Liberals view men as Providers, Protectors, and Penitents.
On Twitter and more so on TikTok, there is a continuum of slanderous generalizations about men up to celebration of male suicide and "kill all men". Men who complain or disagree these generalizations are cancelled from Liberal circles. According to many Liberals, men are oppressors, thus they must accept any verbal abuse from the oppressed without protest.

I do understand that many Conservatives would not like to have a basically Liberal ally. But as a sane man I have no choice -- even though I happen to be a Liberal on most issues.

I would sayYep. It's a weird experience, going with a movement like "I'm here because I agree with just about all your policy goals, even though I know a not-insubstantial amount of my fellow feminists view me as subhuman."
I disagree with Conservatives 80%, but anyone who opposes those who view me as subhuman is my friend.
