Geez! South Korea is geezing away!

As an old geezer myself (83), I can sympathize with South Korea and other societies that are aging.

Japan, for example, is a culturally homogeneous society.

But because of its aging and declining population, it has decided to let in 300,000 immigrants during the next several years. So I guess that South Korea will be forced to follow that route, too.

As we have seen in Europe, this move could have far-reaching repercussions.

S Korea has proven to be pretty good at learning from and avoiding our mistakes

so hopefully they will limit immigration to high achieving persons and their immediate family only
