I am an independent voter. I've been fighting more and more with the Democrats because the Republicans have gone insane.

Obama drove energy prices up intentionally by reinstating drilling restrictions the moment he took office. Fracking (which Obama opposed but couldn’t prevent) reversed that trend and trump expanded on that. Biden came in and petulantly reversed trump policy and has driven energy and our economy into the ditch. Very simple and clear.

The reason why petrol and diesel (gas to Americans is so high) is due to supply and demand.

When COVID kicked off, demand fell due to lockdowns.

As lockdowns have finished etc.., demand has increased, this has forced prices up as oil companies rake it in.

Nothing to do with presidents and/or prime minister's.

The other is, if you're gonna start raping the oil companies over EV's, they're gonna get out of the market as much as they can.
