Every judge who has looked at the claims says it clap trap.
It's politics as usual. Nothing new. No "change." No "hope." Just more of the same old shit. A politician is a crock with the ability to bend and hide from the law. "Above the law."
I hate them all actually, and have to take this stuff in small doses as to not make myself PUKE!
If they ever do a complete audit of Obama's campaign financing, they will almost certainly find that somewhere around $200 million of the money he raised was raised illegally. Now, there is a good argument that Obama campaign could not have been aware of this because of the way donations were made, much of it over the Internet by credit card.
In the end, it's not a crime. However, there is a bigger issue. This money will need to be returned, and that brings up a big question; where will the money come from to return? Obama's campaign spent through almost all of the money it collected. That would put any future campaign in the hole which could have a big effect on fundraising over the next four years. It will be interesting to see how all of this plays out, or if it ends up mostly being ignored.
