Of course I don’t train with them lol
I go to a few gyms and I see them training .
I stick to the beginner classes and they do the pro classes .

Very amazing to watch the few glimpses I can get .They can chain together complex moves like it’s nothing

They don’t know me at all but I know them
My beginner classes are mostly teenage boys and young guys
Fine with me as I don’t want to get injured and I am 45
We get a few middle age guys but they quit fast

That is all.

Many years ago I took some jujitsu classes. The instructor was an 7th dan red and white belt in judo and also held a black belt in karate and jujitsu.

A student once asked him if he thought any man could beat him in a real fight.

My instructor replied, “I would consider a man armed with a Colt .45 auto and skilled in using it to be an 8th degree blackbelt.”

Today’s JJ has been radically changed to 100’percent ground submissions
, it’s called BJJ from Brazil

A good boxer / wrestler would obliterate any black belt in any old Asian arts

The jujitsu I was taught included ground submissions but the instructor spent a lot of time dealing with how to disarm an attacker who had a knife, club or gun. The class was oriented toward self defense.
