Trump Wins At SCOTUS...Constitutional Prejections Remain!

The Orange Shit Gibbon lost his attempt to hide his Tax Records from the Manhattan D.A. In a 7-2 Decision (Majority Decision written CJ Roberts) the court held,

ā€œIn our judicial system, ā€˜the public has a right to every manā€™s evidence.ā€™ Since the earliest days of the Republic, ā€˜every manā€™ has included the President of the United States,ā€ Roberts wrote.

.

The Supreme Court on Thursday voted 7-2 against President Donald Trump in a case over whether he could shield his tax records from the Manhattan district attorney.

Chief Justice John Roberts authored the courtā€™s opinion, which was joined by Justices Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Stephen Breyer, Sonia Sotomayor and Elena Kagan. Justices Brett Kavanaugh and Neil Gorsuch wrote separately to explain their votes with the majority. Justices Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito dissented.

Wow. I wasn't expecting that.

Here's the problem, Trump recently fired the Chief District Attorney and installed a lap dog.

Roberts comes through again.
It wasn't just Roberts it was also Gorsuch and Kavenaugh that found Trump must release his tax returns. Expect a Trump twitter rant soon.

They didn't rule on that, they only ruled on absolute presidential immunity with regards to the supeona. His lawyers still have plenty of other arguments to use.
His arguments are now limited to the same arguments you or I would make as powerless citizens.

The Trump aftermath of the SC decision:

"On Thursday, following the 7-2 rulings from the Supreme Court rejecting President Donald Trumpā€™s claims of absolute immunity in the New York tax returns and House financial oversight cases, the president took to Twitter to complain.
In the thread, Trump whined that he was being unfairly targeted by the Supreme Court decisions ā€” which were joined by the two justices he appointed ā€” and claimed he was a victim of ā€œprosecutorial misconduct.ā€

Court punted it back down to the lower courts.

As usual, Trump does what he wants and then ties it up in the courts indefinitely.

This will not be decided by the November election and Congress will lose interest by the time Trump loses.

However, the New York prosecutor will pursue the case

Actually no. Now the State has to tell the courts if they intend to attempt to prosecute Trump. If they do admit it, then the judge will throw out the case because only Congress can indict and convict a standing president. The State would have to turn over its case to congress, and they could try to supeona the records. If they say he isn't the target, then they have to show why they need the information, and who is the actual target.

Correct. Presidents submitting tax returns was a custom started by Nixon. This has been a fool's errand by the Party of Fools.

I don't know how anyone can make an argument that this is anything but the continued Witch Hunt against a guy who beat their "I'm With Her", China First candidate.

Trump will use this to drive him this election, you can bet. Trump is just one of those guys who gets really motivated when he feels threatened. It's like many guys, but he's on the biggest stage and has been for the majority of his life.

His rally on Saturday is going to be that much more energized now.

What CASE?

Be specific.

Maybe now the SC will rule on Trump and O releasing their college transcripts.

The case was sent back to the lower court.
Yes, it will buy the crooked Trump more time.

This will motivate Trump even more to ensure a victory in 2020. If he isn't president they will go harder against him, if he wins re-election, which I think will happen as long as he compares his record with the career politicians, he will have them spinning their wheels and citizens will ask what their motive is.
Whether Trump wins or loses, Trump's taxes will be released. The American people will then see what a fraud Trump truly is except that Trump's more fervent supporters will applaud Trump's fraud as proof of Trump's criminal genius.
What makes you think his tax returns will prove he is a ā€œfraudā€?

I think itā€™s hilarious he made you all jump through all these hoops just to see his tax returns. Because what is going to be in them? A big giant nothing burger.

Trump knows he had a bad day today:

This not a tweet from a "winner".

IF Trump had nothing to hide he would have released his taxes. He did not. Trump's tax return's will show that he is fraud.
