Both she and her son had to fill out provisional ballots. Her son, because he registered at 18 but has not voted in any election yet. He just turned 20.

She has always voted, has photo ID and voter's card but they didn't have her on the list at the place where she always votes.

Anyone surprised they're both registered Dem?

I figured around 3PM the nutters would start rolling out the BS tales like this one. Expect them to come fast and furious for the next few hours, almost invariably coming from the left. Howard Dean was on a little bit ago with the same shit.

Maybe if they were out to vote more often, they would know where they need to vote.

Excuses already?

They Were able to Cast Provisional Ballots idiot. You do know what that means right. As long as they check out, their vote will count.

Don't care. I've had to vote with a provisional ticket before.

Grab a tissue for your tears chump

BTW Im not surprised they are Democrats and havent been out to vote and don't know where they vote.

Which means she DID vote, and your thread title is a lie.

Cool story.

Now, here's mine: There was a question mark next to my name and address (maybe because my fiance and I live together and he has already voted...dunno, though). I was escorted to a separate area where they asked for another form of ID with my address on it. I gave them my DL.

They asked me a bunch of other questions; I answered them; then I filled out an affidavit that I am who I say I am and I live where I say I live and that I have yet to vote in this election and that I understand that I am committing a felony if I am untruthful on the affidavit.

Then I voted.

Any surprise that this happened to a registered Republican? (;)...I have to keep with the conspiracy tone of the OP).

Agreed. You'd have to be crazy to believe anything muddly.dullwit says.

I went to the polling place i thought i needed to be. They didn't have me there but told me to go over to another desk and they'd look up my polling place. They did, i went there, i voted.

Who's fault was it? Mine. I didn't look up where i was supposed to go beforehand. If i had voted 4 years earlier in a building that burned to the ground and wasn't replaced, then went there again and stomped my feet saying "THIS IS WHERE I VOTED LAST TIME WTF?!?!" then i would look pretty stupid, i would think. A lot can happen in four years. For example, the U.S. could rack up some insane debt in that time.
