French farmers block border with Germany in protest against cheap German products

The farmers say, Germany´s low labor costs are a threat to them. In Germany, East-Europeans are hired for hardly more than board and lodge. The farmers won´t let trucks laden with German agricultural goods through until the blockade is lifted.

The protest is part of other protests the farmers conduct against cheap prices of agricultural goods.
