Let me understand this; The terrorist army called Hezbollah was born in Iran, was few and nurtured by Iran, is given toys and financial allowance by Iran, but somehow, France says that Iran is a "stabilizing force" in the Middle Eastern region?
They seems to be using something more than just grapes in their wine nowadays!

Douste-Blazy, who was in Beirut Monday, said, "In the region there is of course a country such as Iran - a great country, a great people and a great civilization which is respected and which plays a stabilizing role in the region."

For clarification, Philippe Douste-Blazy is France's FM.

Amazing; France has become so adept at surrendering that they no longer need white flags!

Most dictatorships are a "stabilizing" force...for those who they govern. Saddam kept Iraq pretty quiet...of course, he killed a lot of folks to keep it that way. The problem is; they are not so stabilizing for other nations.

Agreed---people who are dead, in prison or fear for their lives are pretty "stable".
