Fox's Napolitano calls Trump acquittal 'legal assault' on Constitution: 'Somewhere, Nixon is smiling'

Napolitano wrote in the op-ed on FoxNews.com. "The president has taken an oath to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution. Instead, he has trashed it."

"How? By manipulating Senate Republicans to bar firsthand evidence and keep it from senatorial and public scrutiny, Trump and his Senate collaborators have insulated him and future presidents from the moral and constitutional truism that no president is above the law," he continued. "Somewhere, Richard Nixon is smiling.ā€

Wow! Thatā€™s deep. Iā€™m surprised they let him talk over at Fox.

Cipollone ā€˜Must Come Cleanā€™? Calls for Disciplinary Action Against WH Counsel Intensify

According to the Times, Trump instructed Boltonā€“ā€œduring an Oval Office conversation in early May that included the acting White House chief of staff, Mick Mulvaney, the presidentā€™s personal lawyer Rudolph W. Giuliani and the White House counsel, Pat A. Cipolloneā€ā€“ to ā€œhelpā€ with the pressure campaign on Ukraine to leverage investigations of the Bidens.

ā€”ā€”ā€”
Cipollone was Donald Trumpā€˜s counsel who defended him in the Senate trial and at the same time was a fact witness. John Bolton said he was in on the The entire scam. Thatā€™s highly illegal. Donā€™t be surprised if this guy turns up with an ethics investigation. He could easily be disbarred.

Mueller referred 14 criminal cases for outside prosecution

And donā€™t forget, there are still 14 criminal cases going on that came out of the Mueller report the Republicans keep insisting was a failure.

We donā€™t know who they are because all the cases have been redacted.

I wonder if weā€™ll find out Who they are before the next election?

Sorry, can't take any defense of a witch hunt seriously.

I dunno the way they do things in Washington anymore, Deanie. Nancy Pelosi now tells everybody to just vote to pass the bills in so we can understand what's in them. It's a little confusing. :cuckoo:

OK people come on be serious. If Trump was innocent of trying to shake down the leader of a foreign country to subvert an American election, he wouldā€™ve sent out Mick Mulvaney and John Bolton and everybody else.

but he didnā€™t. He didnā€™t because all of those people refused to perjured themselves. Itā€™s so plain and so obvious. Nobody can argue with it.

I feel sorry for you, dude. You now get to spend the next 5 years wondering why he wasn't removed, and coming up with hilarious reasons why he should still be removed.

You have alot of work ahead of you. :laughing0301:

Nope. It's called non-cooperation with a hostile enemy. Make them do their work. The Democrats declined.

Hey JGalt, know what I find really amusing about your post showing the headline? The New York Times and the Washington Post are papers that Trump has stopped from coming into the WH.

White House urges all federal agencies to cancel Washington Post and New York Times subscriptions - CNNPolitics

The move was first reported by The Wall Street Journal. It follows President Donald Trump's recent indication that the White House would "terminate" its existing subscriptions with the two newspapers, which have been the frequent target of the administration's criticism through Trump's candidacy and presidency.
"The New York Times, which is a fake newspaper -- we don't even want it in the White House anymore. We're going to probably terminate that and the Washington Post," Trump said on Fox News' "Hannity" Monday evening.
"They're fake," the President added. "You take a look at the New York Times and you take a look at the kind of reporting they do, it was all -- it turned out to be all wrong."
It's not clear how many subscriptions federal agencies have to the Times and the Post.

Why didnā€™t the House call the witnesses they wanted?
Well I know there is still one ongoing subpoena from last April. That was the problem. Republicans were blocking every witness. That was one of trumps articles of impeachment - obstruction of Congress. But you knew that.

The real question here is that Iā€™m sure you guys all admit that trump university was a scam that bilked thousands of people out of their savings.

we know Trump foundation was shut down as a criminal organization and is still under criminal investigation.

and thereā€™s 14 ongoing criminal trials that are redacted so we donā€™t know who they are and those are from the Mueller report.

so with all these criminal enterprises and all this criminal involvement, do you really think that this shakedown was trumps only crime while heā€™s in the oval office?

We know why he wasnā€™t removed. Elected Republicans are terrified of trumps base. Itā€™s as obvious as the white bags under his eyes?.

Trump uses Bronx Boosting orange hydrating concealer BHCo6 to get that delightful shade of orange. But he needs to learn to put it under his eyes.

Yeah, go with that. I'm sure that will get him impeached next time. :laughing0301:

14 convictions that are coming undone. Judge napi is nothing more then a jilted trump groupie who got mad that he wasn't seriously considered for SCOTUS. No one even takes him seriously. He isn't even allowed on TV anymore because everything he said has been wrong. I'm sure he is a good guy, but no one takes him seriously.
