Why would you support a "study" on reparations if you are opposed to making the payments?

That doesn't even make any sense.

The study would get people ready to receive the long green, to not follow through and not cut the checks would create civil discord.

The idea of having a study, and then NOT following through with a check is actually worse than just giving the checks. And just giving the checks is a pretty bad idea on its own merits

Anyone who would even "support a study on reparations" is someone who needs to be smacked in the head with a fuckin' phonebook.

That said, I hope she continues to talk about it. See, the majority of Americans, left and right alike, are against the idea of reparations. That said, according to CNN citing an APNORC poll, 75% of negroes support reparations; big fuckin' surprise, huh? Only 15% of whites support reparations.

In that same poll, those over 60 were the least likely age group to support reparations (16%), compared to those in the 18- to 29-year-olds (49%). See, young coloreds believe they should be given what they want. They should take a hint from their elders.

In the end, though, it's not going to matter. Joe Biden, doddering old fool that he is, will never be elected. The only way he'll ever see the inside of the White House again is if he takes a tour...
