Former Pentagon Chief-of-Staff Kash Patel Says Trump Declassifyied Documents

Presidential records act. Not a criminal act.
It is a FELONY

18 U.S.C. § 2071 makes it a felony to willfully and unlawfully remove, mutilate or destroy—or to attempt to remove, mutilate or destroy—any record deposited in any public office or with any public officer of the United States. That same provision also makes it a felony for anyone having custody of such records to remove, mutilate or destroy those records and imposes severe consequences: a violation requires the individual to “forfeit his office and be disqualified from holding any office under the United States.”
Espionage act. Not of interest for declassified documents.
The Espionage Act makes no mention as to whether or not something is or isn't classified

What possible reason could Trump have for removing documents that are deemed so sensitive that they can only be viewed in a secure location?

What else do the libtarded Democraps and the DOJ have?

Actually the espionage act 1917 deals with national secrets by their nature not by their classification.

Trump had a standing declassification order.. You will not win this argument...
That order did not become official until the declassified documents were marked as such.

No different from any presidential order. Somebody in an official capacity has to make an official record of it.

Because he was the President of the United States. It may comes as a shock to you, but former Presidents don’t just lose their security clearance immediately. Most Presidents have a SCIF at their home, President Trump did at his Mar-a-Lago home. He has a lifetime Secret Service protection which means there is a permanent presence of a government entourage and they all have security clearances and probably have classified workspaces there.

Remember classification/declassification authority works both ways.

If Trump made a standing order that everything said in the oval office was classified top secret, would that crop all press coverage of Trumps actions in the oval office, including phone calls?

Then why did Trump store SCIF documents in the basement?

That he had a SCIF and didn't store classified documents in it, is damning.

Trump did not have a SCIF...stop lying

“President Trump had the power to declassify whichever documents he wanted to while he was president, but not any longer. So I’m not sure it’s at all obvious that he could now claim that he declassified documents while he was still in office if there’s no evidence to support it,” Vladeck said.

There are several eyewitnesses to this order. It is the government's responsibility to prove it was never given. Good luck...

Marking changes were not required... no matter how many times you say this it is not true.
Why do you think the president has staff? To officiate his commands. Trump says pardon Steve Bannon, and until his staff prepare the physical pardon for his signature, and delivery to Bannon, it's not official.

Bannon can't show a tweet of the president pardoning him to a judge.

All Garland and the DOJ did with this gross abuse of power is ensure Trump will be re-elected and that democrats will no longer hold power. Karma is coming for both Wray and Garland... I can't wait to see them perpwalked.
Nothing will happen legally. My concern is some deranged lefty assassin getting Trump after he announces he's running.
