Let me get this straight. You want to borrow money to buy a home. You might be a borderline loan risk and you can't make a big down payment so you (presumably) go to the bank that gives you the best deal. You sign all the papers, get the check and move in and then you can't make the payments so you....blame the bank? Democrat politicians blame the banks when they created the scam using Fannie Mae to launder bad loans? Stupid kids camp out on Wall Street and blame the banks? Banks don't confiscate money and redistribute it like the US government does. Banks do it the old fashioned way, they earn it and they lend money. They give you all the information you need to know about interest and they expect you to repay the loan. How is that not fair? How in the world could people be "targeted" by banks when they compete with each other and advertize their interest rates and payment schedule? The world is upside down under liberalism.

For some reason, some people don't realize that banks are a for profit business. The only difference between a bank and any other business is their product or service. Grocery stores sell food to make a profit. Dry cleaners deal in cleaning clothing to make a profit. Banks deal in the handling and lending of money to make a profit. Having worked in banking for 32 years, I see money as a widget, just like an ice cream cone or nuts and bolts. It's the medium we work in. The big difference is that unlike the ice cream shop that has to have a liscense from the health department, we are buried in regulations that protect our customers and under mandates from the government to employee practices that we know is not good for our business. Banks are a business, nothing more, nothing less. They are not evil. Entitlement moochers who are jealous of what others have need to understand this.

Tell you what moocher, try to operate without a bank. Do everything you do on a cash basis. I'm sure it can be done until you need to buy something like a car or a house that your cash flow won't handle. I suppose you could form some sort of a banking co-op with your buddies and lock all of tyour cash in a safe in someone's garage. But of course, you'll have to go there and hope he's home so you can get $50 to go to the grocery store. There is no check writing or debit/credit cards because that takes money and people to operate systems like that and since banks are parasites, we don't want ot enulate them. I'm just curious, do you bitch about the gas station and the gorcery store as being parasites for charging you money for the goods and services they provide? What exactly do you expect a bank to do for you? Do you want an unsecured, 30 year, interest free mortgage? Would that be fair?
