This is where you end up.
The government is nothing more than a group of people, like anyone else, If anything, they are skilled in getting elected, but often, hardly an expert when it come to the changes they try to impose. They are only people, and only elected to represent, once they are given the feeling of their own greatness and importance, they become the danger the founders of the country were so concerned about.
Some people are happy to upset the balance and give up these basic rights in exchange for protection by the 'Government' . I saw this link while addressing another thread that was closed, thought it was worth posting.
