For Democrats, Equality Is No Longer Good Enough. We Need Marxist 'Equity.'

The communists moved immediately from equality to equity. The dumbshits think it means much the same thing. It doesn't. When I heard Susan Rice blathering about equity my blood ran cold. What they want is monstrous.

At a White House briefing last week, Susan Rice said, "The president has committed the whole of our government to advancing racial justice and equity[.] ... We will hold the federal government accountable for advancing equity ... Every agency will place equity at the core [of its programs[.]"
According to the dictionary, equity is "freedom from bias or favoritism." However, the "social justice" definition of equity is the opposite. It holds that to be equal, people must be treated differently. "Whereas equality means providing the same to all, equity means recognizing that we do not all start from the same place and must acknowledge and make adjustments to imbalances."
This idea of equity comes from identifiably communist thought. It is the second part of Marx's slogan: "From each according to his ability; to each according to his needs." Lenin, discussing Marx, said, "Every right is an application of the same measures to different people who, in fact, are not the same and are not equal to one another; this is why "equal right" is really a violation of equality and an injustice[.] ... [D]ifferent people are not alike; one is strong, another is weak, one is married, the other is not, one has more children[.] ... [quoting Marx] 'In order to avoid all these defects, rights, instead of being equal, must be unequal'" (State and Revolution, Chapter 5, Part 3).

No nation or system of government is perfect, but the idea of equality has done far more for people than the idea of equity and its lamentable history. This equality is not the kind that equity can never have; it is what every citizen already has. This equality takes into account the imperfections of the human way of operating by allowing for free thought, free speech, control over whom they elect, and an adversarial system of government where opposition and debate are the norm. It is this equality that is at the core of the Constitution and which should be at the core of every agency, not the equity Susan Rice espouses.

Comment:
Under this Progressive Marxist/DSA Democrat Commie idea, everyone ends up in poverty except to the entitled ruling class who see themselves as gods over the dirty masses.
Again quoting the genius of Orwell "Animal Farm":
'All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others.'
The bad news for the Progressive Marxist/DSA Democrats and RINOs is that congress is split. The US Senate is 50/50; the vice president is the Ds only edge. The US House of Representatives is 221D/211 and maybe 1 less D shortly; this would leave only a 9 vote majority in a House with 435 representatives. So for all intents and purposes, this is a razor thin majority.
And so far, some of the Ds have been squawking, fearful for their reelections. So it's not like the Marxists have a clear path for their agenda through Congress.

Lying dicks. "More equity" does not mean Marxism or communism. Damn we are a country full of lying morons.
Of course it does. Equity is guaranteeing outcomes. Not opportunities. Pursuit of equity is a guaranteed destroyer.

Why should I invest a million dollars of my own money into starting a business if the government is going to GIVE a million dollars to some minority down the street and HAND him a business, then give him incentives to succeed while performing poorly while regulating me to hold me back so that both of us come out the same?

That's equity. It is also unfair of you to do a better job than the poor minority and take clients. Social justice demands that you be fined for the extra business and the money given to the slacker minority.

Progressive Marxist Democrats in the 1960's originally called it "Equal Opportunity" now they've changed it "Equity Opportunity"

No one is ever equal to each other and no matter how many rules you pass into laws it will never make someone truly equal...

Fact is most ( not all ) people want more than the next person and strive to have more and more while stepping on each other to be King of the Hill while never realizing they are like crabs in a bucket and they climb on each other while trying to keep each other down while never realizing they are also keeping themselves down...

Communism never has worked and never will but humans never learn, so I just sit back and watch with boredom as we repeat the same mistake over and over...

Now with that written we as a society should find a happy middle and learn to help each other without the Government forcing us to play nice but again we never do...

In today's episode of Trumper's not understanding what words mean.......

Here is a sport's analogy for those who don't understand equity.....

Let's say 2 teams are playing a game of football....both teams are playing by what we have been told are the same rules.....It's the 4th quarter and one team is ahead by 50 points with 1 minute to go......then we find out the losing team inherited 100 points and wins the game.......since both teams played by the same rules, it may appear fair -- but it definitely wasn't equitable....
What if they were just playing with mentally ill dudes who claim to be women?

More right wing garbage and conspiracy theories from the American Stinker: This website doesn't disclose its ownership and seems to be in the business of sewing distrust and false stories about the Administration designed to promote anti-American propaganda.

  • Overall, we rate the American Thinker, Questionable based on extreme right-wing bias, promotion of conspiracy theories/pseudoscience, use of poor sources, and several failed fact checks.

~~~~~~
********
Do you have a credible source? Because "Just facts daily" keeps failing fact checks. As for Climate Change Daily, their page is still listing them as "Quackery".
And as for "Climate Change Daily", is a listed as "quackery". As for their service of a "cease and desist" letter. Guess it ended up in the circular filing cabinet:
  • Overall, we rate Climate Change Dispatch as a Conspiracy and Quackery level Pseudoscience source for the promotion of false or misleading information that is not in line with the consensus of science.
If you want to debunk Media Bias, you have to use a website that doesn't lie, to do it.
Ad Hominem Fallacy
Ad hominem means “against the man,” and this type of fallacy is sometimes called name calling or the personal attack fallacy. This type of fallacy occurs when someone attacks the person instead of attacking his or her argument.
Equity is concerned with fairness and social justice and aims to focus on a concern for people’s needs, instead of providing services that reach the greatest number of people. The equity paradigm promotes investing in the transmission of services to people who need them most.
These people want inequity and they want to legally discriminate against people they think are not worthy of being US citizens or members of their society..
Certainly looks that way.. If Americans cave in to this mentality we're finished as a Democratic Republic.
Yes, but there has always been a seedy underbelly that seeks to obtain a dictator for life.
Yes, that would be Democrats....Just look at how they are acting today.
Ok, let's look at your foolish analogy Biff...What you seem to be proposing is that the team that inherits that 100 points give 25.5 of those points to the other team. You know, to make it fair....Thus resulting in a tie at 75.5 to 75.5....Who the hell would watch that game? Boring....
Now, let's talk about it in RL terms...You want to make all people equal in terms of wealth, which would mean that wealthy families would have to sacrifice their wealth to those down the economic ladder that have done nothing to earn that wealth...Can't you see a problem with that?
If that were the model, who would put in the effort to advance if their lives were going to be equal no matter what? It is a recipe for destruction of this country.
Get another job if you want more money dumbass. If you're flipping burgers that's your own damn fault.
I made plenty of money before I retired. Just thinking about the Spanish Empire from about 1500 to the early 18th century.. They had fabulous wealth, but they invested nothing in their people.. They hoarded it. They had to hire foreigners for everything.. The result was gross inflation and a crash into poverty.
I prefer a robust economy and a strong middle class.
The libs on this thread are either in denial or idiots. This equity bullshit is a major win for Marxism. This administration is going to do a lot of damage in the next four years. If you have kids in public school, you'll see it happen up close. If you thought they couldn't get much worse, buckle up.
I used to say they were just ignorant. I am starting to believe they may actually be idiots as well. I send my kids to private school to escape the lunacy being taught in public schools.
What kind of private school.. an established one or one of the new Christian ones?
