Florida GOP Admits Their 2022 Voter Laws Are B.S.

Which changes do you oppose? They all can't be bad, and the changes that made it to the Bill just
shored up the potential fraud and ballot harvesting.

No it did not. There is absolutely nothing wrong with ballot harvesting. Trump used ballot harvesting to vote. He gave it to a third party who submitter it to election voters. Nothing in the Florida bill has anything to do with fraud. It is nothing but a attempt to disenfranchise voters.

Ballot Harvesting is legalized cheating. Which is why civilized states have outlawed it. When you loons start screaming “disenfranchised” we know it’s a good law to put in. Now about you people cry how it’s too hard to get an ID to vote, but you want to force people to have an ID and vax papers to go out in public......

A officer to intimidate voters. There is absolutely no reason to not allow mail-in voting. Yes it should be as easy as possible.
If having a police officer there worries you then you are probably the kind of person we don't want voting. No, it shouldn't be as easy as possible. We completely disagree on all fronts on this issue.

"Florida Republicans this spring insisted a contentious new election law curtailing access to ballot boxes was needed to prevent electoral fraud -- but a raft of internal emails and text messages obtained by POLITICO show the law was drafted as a way for the GOP to erase the edge that Democrats had in mail-in voting during the 2020 election.

Republican Party of Florida chair and state Sen. Joe Gruters defended a Senate proposal to cancel all existing mail-in ballot requests, saying that it would be “devastating” for Republicans to keep them valid heading into the 2022 election when DeSantis and other state GOP officials are up for reelection. “We cannot make up ground. Trump campaign spent 10 million. Could not cut down lead,” Gruters wrote to Rep. Blaise Ingoglia, who had been chair of the Republican Party of Florida before Gruters."

By now it should be clear that all of this talk about election fraud and the need to keep passing new voter restriction laws on top of voter restriction laws isn't about election fraud, it is about gaslighting....

And we all know that if reactionary right-wingers couldn't gaslight; they would have no light at all.....for example.....these folks whined about how improving voter access would hurt them in non-partisan races.....
noting that “our school board member got killed” in a local race. Maybe that member got killed in the race because more people voted for someone else?

For a group of folks who are so delusional that they are willing to believe that Biden and others are powerful enough to rig elections, not have any evidence of it produced, not have a single charge brought against them -- why do these folks think passing more voter restrictions to drive down voter turnout will change anything?? Wouldn't the diabolically brilliant and powerful Democrats just rig those elections too?
Don’t see where they say the laws are “bullshit”. Biffy making up shit again?

Of course mass mail-in ballots would be devastating for Republicans because that’s how Dems cheat. So it sounds like he is defending the laws.

Where in your link does it say that the GOP ADMITS their 2022 voting laws are BS?

It doesn't have to. It was so obvious Stevie wonder could see it.
Yet you talk about fraudulent elections but insist on changing the ground rules to suit republicans then ignorantly dismiss it.

The entire Florida bill was designed to help Republicans. The bill was passed on a partisan vote.
Which laws,

You do realise that a liberal government there is the equivalent to a republican government here. What was you saying about runaway governments you ignorant dickhead.

LEO is an enforcement position (psst. It's even in the title!). If there's no laws broken, and no reports to make, there's no reason for them to be there. :dunno:

You sound too stupid and fascist to be allowed to vote anyway.

Is Politico so desperate to keep the focus off the current president that they spin normal Florida GOP "internal memos" into a freaking conspiracy? Politico should lose it's Twitter account over this faked stuff.

Like at a bank or a school? Talk about stupid.

Yeah, stupid. LE resource officers are in full enforcement capacity in schools. Banks usually hire private security (sometimes off duty LE). So if you wanna pay LE to babysit polling places, go right ahead. Just don't expect anyone else to.

It's a colossally stupid idea, nonetheless.
