Last week my brother was over in Tampa and stopped in a gun store. Got 200 rounds of .380 (one of my carry pieces) for $94; just south of 50¢ a round. Not great, obviously, but a lot better than the $75 for 100 rounds I was seeing at gun shows over the summer...

Damn, $75-$100 for 100 rounds of .380? I have been shooting .38 for many years and I load my own wadcutters on a Lee turret press. It works good if you concentrate. I have an old top-break revolver and I have been trying to get .32 S&W rounds for years. I snagged a box of 50 from Midway at $50 a couple of years ago but nobody has them anymore so I bought the dies for the Lee press but have yet to try it out.

Yeah, it's gotten pretty ridiculous. My two closest Academy Sports stores have virtually no ammo, and what they do have is mostly 12 gauge and .22LR.

They've got plenty of firearms, though...

I have 20,000 rounds of ammo on my shelf. The way things are going, if our military fails to act, I am going to need it.
