Tarantino is a genius

Ridley Scott is another one of my favorites. They have their own unique styles that are easily identifiable.

I like certain Coen Bros. movies:

Raising Arizona
Barton Fink

Tarantino:

Natural Born Killers (by far my favorite)
Dusk to Dawn
Resevoir Dogs
Django Unchained

I also have a thing for end of the world movies or natural disaster movies.. I find them fascinating to watch....

Martin Scorese

One of the Best Movies EVER. (My ex called it Raging Bore) - dumbass....

I've been a huge Batman fan since I was a kid, so I have to say Christopher Nolan. Second would be the Coen brothers.

Stanley Kubrick in a category of his own. 2001 A Space Oddity changed cinema forever. He only made 13 films I believe but he is considered in the business as one of the greats. For good reason.

Ridley Scott Alien
Woody Allen Anny Hall
Quentin Tarantino Pulp Fiction
Alfred Hitchcock The Birds
Francis Ford Coppola Apocalypse Now
Stephen Spielberg. Spielberg combines genius with financial success. Not the easiest thing to do. Saving Private Ryan and Schindler's List were masterpieces in their genre.
Martin Scorcese Taxi Driver
James Cameron Avatar, Titanic

One thing about Directors, many of them also wrote the great screenplays for these movies, or came up with the story. These people are the great storytellers.

definitely not the Nolan. Maybe Coppola or Zvyagintsev or better Chaplin
