The FEC lacks balls. Even if they could have a say in the election, they don't have enough commissioners to do anything. She is the one Democrat and Trainor is the one Republican. Campaign finance funds help to pay for the campaigns of politicians . They got elected with FEC money. Joe Biden's campaign was helped by FEC administered funds and so was Donald Trump's. That's all the jurisdiction they need.

With anything other than their assigned mission their jurisdiction equates to that of the Man in the Moon's.

The Federal Election Commission has been disbanded for lack of a quorum. That's because most of the members resigned over pressure from Donald Trump to find election fraud, where none existed. Here are the bald hard facts. Registered Republicans are only 29% of registered voters, versus 33% for the Democrats, but independents are 34% of registered voters. Membership in the Republican Party has DECLINED under Donald Trump.

The bald fact is the Republican Party has become the party of white grievance, the party of "I've got mine and fuck you", and the party of racists beliefs about minorities and women. Republicans have tried to portray themselves as the "family values party", but they refuse to provide health care for all families, raises to the minimum wage for low income families, maternity leave or job security for pregnant women, or even decent schools for the children of low income families.
