Blue Lives Matter and All Lives Matter are demeaning terms used to mock and belittle Black Lives Matter. It is antagonistic. We all know it. The best way to calm tensions of people who are frustrated and upset is to allow them to be heard, make them feel like their message is understood, and heaven forbid maybe even show some empathy and compassion.
