FBI close to ID of suspect in death of Capitol Cop Brian Sicknick

'manslaughter' is still murder.
First it was being bashed in the head with a fire extinguisher. Then it's a "possible" bear spray reaction (yeah right). What's next, a congenital heart defect? How many times do we have to warn you against our disinformation ministry pumping out unvetted bullshit to push the Leftist narrative?

Sicknick died of a stroke.

BURN THE WITCH!!!!

you don't know that because the medical examiner hasn't concluded the cause of death, nor put out a report. AND if a stroke is indicated - it could have been spurred on by bear spray, NOT ' natural causes ' which = murder.
No it does not at most it is man slaughter.

not premeditated, no ... but the intent to cause harm that results in death is still murder. it's just the matter of degree & can carry a lengthy prison term.

Third Degree Murder (Manslaughter): This classification of murder is the most susceptible to State interpretation. In a generic sense, manslaughter requires a murderous action without intent. Typical types of third degree murder charges are cases that involve accidental deaths, negligent actions, or reckless scenarios.

Thanks - Although anyone who uses bear spray on another human should know that it's not only grossly rude, they could (fairly rare but it happens) kill them as sounds probable in Sicknick case.

I'm not a DA (though I did sleep at a Holiday Inn Express last night ;-) ... But Manslaughter 3 sounds like the right charge. As we found out in the Trayvon Martin case, overcharging is often a failed stragegery.

Too bad nobody gave a shit about all the cops hurt and killed over the summer. But, hey, I guess it doesn't fit the narrative. :(
You beat me to it! I've never seen so much "caring" about the death of a Cop from the Left. :dunno:

And I've never seen so much LACK of concern about the death of a cop from the right.
You've lost your "law and order" claims after Donnie's sack of the Capitol and cop beatings.
Go surf porn or something.

I’m from the Right... lock him up. It is your side that goes over the top the other way:

* “The Police acted stupidly” (President Obama)
* “Defund the Police”
* Legal Defense Funds for those who assault cops
* Activists on your side who actually conspired or took part in police station and government building bombings are tenured professors or they have received Presidential pardons.

The right doesn't get to bellow "Lock 'em up!!" when you have no evidence of wrongdoing (see Hillary/ Joe/ Hunter). In the case of Donnie's Capitol Sack, we have acres of evidence including likely a year's worth of video (more of which emerges daily). And that is why the arrest total is pushing 400.

These people were violent traitors to their country. GITMO with a weekly waterboarding might be too lenient.

Horseshit.

But you're okay with throwing Americans in cages and torturing them, by your own admission, because they are upset at the blatant theft of a national election.

It's pretty clear who is the shittier person here.

Lock him up!

The FBI is focusing on one man as a possible suspect in Capitol police officer Brian Sicknick's death, a U.S. official told CBS News. The official said the unidentified assailant was using bear spray against multiple people during the January 6 assault.
The New York Times was first to report the new focus on the potential suspect.

Spraying bear spray is now attempted murder?

No. It isn't. Bear spray isn't as potent as pepper spray.

if a death is a direct result of that spray ... then it is a homicide no matter how you slice & dice it.

same as if the cop who suffered a heart attack after an insurrectionist tazed him... if he actually died, then that animal who did it .... was responsible for his death.

so when a cop pepper sprays a person and they die that is manslaughter?

depends on the circumstances - was the 'person' already in cuffs or actively engaged in a fight with the cop? was the cop threatened with his own bodily harm?

you are trying to set up a false equivalency & it just ain't gonna fly.

lol ... anything to justify the bloody attempted coup spurred on by yer chosen one.

LOL! now tell the class how you fully believe the election was stolen again.

it was a riot nothing more, or can you explain why rioters attempting to take over federal court houses are not insurrectionists?

I do not recollect any rioters trying to take over federal courthouses as hearings were taking place so that they could declare a candidate who lost a free and fair election King. If you can't see that malicious property damage doesn't attain the level of an actual TAKEOVER attempt of our government while a constitutionally mandated process was underway in our nation's capitol? ....

I can't help.

What they are leaving out of the story is that when this first happened.......one of the major screw ups (remember Pelosi and her Capitol police knew the protestors were coming) was that the inept Pelosi Capitol Police were firing off Tear GAS---but fucked up and were hitting their own cops. If they are going to claim that this cop died of bear spray----why not say he died of tear gas fired off by Pelosis inept goon squad capital police.

Which btw, the Capital cop who killed Ashli---we should be wondering if he had any involvement in the tear gas screw up as well....

The Q-Kook was attempting to crawl through and open window. Sorry - No sympathy

It only matters to filthy DEMS when it suits their agenda. Anyone can put on a Red Hat. This was Antifa all the way.

Lol! ^ Special kind of kook right here ^ We have almost 400 arrests at present. Proud Boys, 3%-ers, Oaf Keepers, etc etc etc - All MAGA all the time. No AntiFa sorry.
You are prevaricating. They have not released that info. Except ONE proven Antifa rioter.

Yes the have. And your “AntiFa” arrest claim has been roundly debunked. You need to pay better attention son!
Debunked by CNN? PPPFFFFTTTTT! Or AlJazeera? JEEZ!

it was the FBI.

DONNY'S FBI.
Same FBI that used 40 Gestapo to arrest Roger Stone? With CNN watching? The FBI are storm troopers. Comey was a typical example.

Tell you what, I see you're in Texas. Why don't you come on over here and we'll talk about it in person pal?
Okay.
don't hurt him his wife will be sad.
Truth is, I'm getting really sick of little pissants challenging me. I've got seven pending assault cases with the Harris County DAs office currently, and that was only the folks who pissed me off enough for me to press charges. Usually, I just give them enough of an ass whipping to make sure they don't come back soon, but lately I've been running out of patience.

Dude, if you have seven pending assault cases, you need to take an anger management class. Your level of violence on this board is pretty legendary. Are you telling the truth, or do you suffer from a micropeen ;-)

And besides ,just to be a name dropper ,Martin got the Justice he deserved. Those who live by the sword and all that. The punk had a VERY long rap sheet. His destiny was to be a lifer or get croaked in a violent manner. No sympathy here.

He did NOT have a long rap sheet (weed and getting aggressive with a bus driver? PLEASE). He was stalked and killed in cold blood. M3 would have been a minimum for this asshole.

I'm security in an ER in downtown Houston, night shift. I get assaulted about once a week, usually. Drug addicts, psych patients, and assorted street trash. One of them flipped shit and charged a nurse 2 or 3 nights ago and I grabbed him and took him to the floor and the motherfucker bit me.
If I did this for the money, I'd say I wasn't getting paid enough, but it's mainly just so I can stay busy and keep my skills sharp.

Nonsense - and some of them did bring guns, crossbows, bombs and other implements of destruction. And your groups like Proud Boys and some of these militia members are being charged with conspiracy. They planned months in advance and were communicating with one another during the insurrection. So yes ... there was a core group of at least a couple hundred who planned the capitol sack.
