‘Trump Was Right’: Explosive New FBI Texts Detail Internal Furor Over Handling Of ‘Crossfire Hurricane’ Investigation — Newly disclosed internal FBI notes & text messages detail the extent of the FBI's desire to take down Trump & his associates at any cost

Federal Bureau of Investigation agents tasked by fired former Director James Comey to take down Donald Trump during and after the 2016 election were so concerned about the agency’s potentially illegal behavior that they purchased liability insurance to protect themselves less than two weeks before Trump was inaugurated president, previously hidden FBI text messages show.

The explosive new communications and internal FBI notes were disclosed in federal court filings today from Sidney Powell, the attorney who heads Michael Flynn’s legal defense team.

“We all went and purchased professional liability insurance,” one agent texted on Jan. 10, 2017, the same day CNN leaked details that then-President-elect Trump had been briefed by Comey about the bogus Christopher Steele dossier. That briefing of Trump was used as a pretext to legitimize the debunked dossier, which was funded by the Democratic National Committee and the Clinton campaign and compiled by a foreign intelligence officer who was working for a sanctioned Russian oligarch.

“Holy crap,” an agent responded. “All the analysts too?”

Yep,” the first agent said. “All the folks at the Agency as well.”

It can be tough when you discover you have invested your loyalty and emotional
well being in a lie.

Tougher still is digging in your heels and throwing in with the lie.

The irony being that those driving the probe of Trump’s campaign used a Russian spy to make that case that Page was a Russian spy — even though he had worked for years as a CIA asset.

“Most importantly: It never told the FISA court about this CI investigation,” Strassel said of the FBI.

The investigation in to the Trump campaign's connection to the Russians interfering in our election, was predicated, according to the Inspector General's Report on it....

Yes, some agents were over zealous, but aren't they always overzealous, with whomever is under investigation?

Those who didn't follow the rules or laws should be pointed out and reprimanded as the IG even stated, but the investigation itself, was predicated, and there was legitimate reasons and cause, to investigate them....And any connection to the Russian interference.

Public hangings would end this treasonous conduct. I'll admire the dedication to their twisted cause as their bowels evacuate at the end of a rope. That's a serious commitment that deserves respect.
