Fauci Troll outed as NIH Spokesman

Dodges my accusation, you sad little man.

Not an accusation at all. You said that the guy was "Doxxed"... I say he kind of exposed himself by doing everything short of signing his name to his crazy posts.

He made a claim that he was a government insider who knew the "truth" about Covid and the NIH and Fauci. How does that NOT get you investigated?

The government wasn't investigating him was it? Was he releasing confidential or sensitive information?

He got Doxxed, and you cheer it.

The whole requirement of nursing homes taking back residents from Hospitals pre-dates and had nothing to do with COVID originally, it was designed to prevent nursing homes from sending problem patients to hospitals and then refusing to take them back. It's basically anti-dumping protection to protect the hospitals, and should have been waived for COVID and the temp facilities should have been used.

So you are admitting that Cuomo didn't cause the problem you are whining about...

No, what he was doing was worse. He was releasing FALSE information. Information that probably got people killed, but then again, if they are the kind of people who read RedState, I'd consider that "Natural Selection".

I'd have to ask why someone with no medical credentials was working at NIH as a spokesman to start with. If he was saying one thing on RedState and something else in his official communications, that's kind of scary in and of itself.

Cuomo caused the problem by not rescinding the directive due to the virus.

He told the places to isolate the returning patients without knowing or caring if the facilities had the capability to do so.

He's losing his job over it.

Hope he feels like he accomplished something!

The real question is, how was he able to keep his job for so long. He's been at that job since 2007, and he's been doing the batshit on RedState for nearly as long.

His actions, have unnecessarily killed people.... :(

A low level blogger on a website?

Yet Cuomo's actions probably didn't kill people according to you....

Drama much?
Let's see.... do you think someone creating lies and sowing distrust of our and the world's most esteemed infectious disease specialist in the middle of a pandemic.....

Is the same as Cuomo who followed the CDC guidelines on nursing homes and covid at the time, is just as evil?

Think twice, before you speak, next time.....

What CDC guidelines?

I think Cuomo is 100 times more liable, his ACTIONS caused additional deaths, despite his current accounting tricks to lower the numbers.

Yet you think speech by some low level blogger kills people....

Hack.
The CDC guidelines for nursing homes and covid.... I have posted them 101 times on all the Cuomo threads right wingers started.....

Search me and Nursing Home guidelines COVID....

I don't want to continue YOUR HIJACK of this thread

You think the PR people at an Engineering firm are Engineers?

he was voicing his opinions, his private opinions, which he kept separate from his work opinions via being anonymous.

Um, yeah, let's look at that.

NY had a total of 455,000 Covid Cases. There are only 20,000 hospital beds in NY. (people didn't stop getting sick from other things). And frankly, they were probably going to get better care in an Assisted Living Facility designed to treat old people than the floor of some tent or some boat someone stuck in the harbor.

The guidelines mostly cover visitors and monitoring of patients diagnosed in the nursing homes. It gives gibberish when it comes to re-admissions. It seems to be written more by lawyers than by doctors.

And I don't give a flying fuck about your bitch moaning about thread hijacking, you waffling twat.

I would check your numbers, 23,000 beds are just in NYC, not NY as a total, and you used the current total of cases for all of NY State.

I expect nothing less from you than poor research.

Okay, let's look at that.

A lot of the posts he made to Red State were during Working Hours at NIH. Which means during time that NIH was paying him to do work, he was openly undermining the mission of NIH by spreading outright information and batshit conspiracy theories.

So do you think that your employer would take a good view of you getting on line and saying, "The 95th Street bridge is going to collapse!!!!"

That assumes he was posting them at the time he wrote them, or he was posting them himself and not via a proxy editor at Red State.

If I believed it was going to collapse and my company disagreed, wouldn't I have an ethical responsibility to do so?

He was the managing Editor of RedState since Erick Erickson left. that strikes me as a guy who was heavily involved in the day to day. Some of his posts were about events in real time. He was blogging on company time. Probably why he quit, because he knew he'd get fired.

If you knew it was going to collapse, your moral obligation would have been to publicly go to the press under your own name with actual evidence, not anonymously pass batshit theories without evidence.

Full disclosure, I do read RedState nearly every day... they used to be one of the saner conservative sites compared to TownHall or others. But now they've fully drunk of the Orange Koolaid.

Actually, they didn't. NY has a LOWER level of Nursing Home Death than the national average.

Here, let me help you out. Here's a national map that shows that 42% of deaths from Covid happened in Nursing Homes and Assisted Living Facilities. Understandable, Covid kills the most vulnerable.

Yet, NY has a rate of 15% of the Covid Deaths being in Assisted living.

Compared to 67% in PA, 41% in Florida, and a whopping 75% in CT.
Got-damned liar.

Why not anonymously?

And if he was doing it on government time, at least he wasn't just watching porn.

Watching porn never got anyone killed.

Spreading batshit misinformation HAS gotten people killed.

Nice attempt at an excuse.

Nevermind that plenty of leftists government workers probably do their political stuff on the clock, only this guy is somehow a problem.

And if their political stuff was interfering in the operations, they'd probably get fired, too.

I don't know of a single company that won't fire you for badmouthing the boss on line.

Companies aren't government, and government has 1st amendment based limitations.

they have to get caught and someone has to report them when caught. A lot of the same thought processes are the norm for the prog.
