Whether it helps or not is very dependent upon the state of the patent.
For example, if the patient has a high fever, clearly no one can contest the fact these synthetic quinines reduce fever.

SARS and COVID-19 are nearly identical coronaviruses, and the over reaction by the immune system that does all the damage, is identical.

Hydroxycloroquinine and chloroquine are not the same thing, but are VERY SIMILAR.
They both have the same goal and work in the same way, as a synthetic quinine that prevents a deadly high fever.
Which is good for the treatment of covid-19.
