The Pirie family's most recent visit to children's hospital included a two-day wait in ER before he was admitted to hospital for respiratory illness.

The Pirie family says they are well-seasoned when it comes to emergency room visits for their two-year-old son Cohen.

He was born premature, delivered at 27 weeks gestation and has been diagnosed with chronic lung disease, bronchopulmonary dysplasia and asthma, which make him prone to respiratory illness.

“Every time Cohen coughs I have a shot of anxiety,” said his father Matthew Pirie.

In November, Cohen fell ill and was transported to McMaster Children’s Hospital by ambulance for treatment.

“I woke Matt up and we decided an ambulance was out best course of action,” said Alysha Pirie, but when they arrived at the hospital, they were surprised by what they saw.

That's nothing. I had a relative just spend EIGHT days in the ER because the hospital didn't have a bed to admit him to. For something non COVID related. That's right here in the good ole US of A where our healthcare system is the BESTEST in the world...no filthy socialism wanted here.

If you can't detect the dripping sarcasm coming from my post, I'll tell you that the above experience isn't uncommon in this country at this time.

It's a hospital in the southern most city of a very warm southwest state.
That's all you'll get, sparky.

And I'll let you in on another secret....it's not the only instance of this happening. I've had a firsthand account of another friend who had the same issue. Just not as long of a wait...in an eastern city's hospital.

Ultimately, I threw this post in because I knew where the OP and rest of you alt-right cucks would go with it.
