In a medium sized rice cooker put

2 cups of Goya Long grain ( or any ) White rice
2 1/2 cups of water if you like firm rice
3 cups of water if you like it sticky
3 Table spoons of Goya Olive Oil
6 packets of Goya Sazon
1 Stick of butter ( optional but makes it heavenly! )
1 Tablespoon of Goya Adobo

Set the cooker and leave it for about 45 minutes..

After you pop the lid on the rice add one can of Goya Kidney beans
and one can Goya Golden Corn kernels......stir it in and serve!

Goes great with any kind of chicken or beef but is also a stand alone vegetarian meal with
plenty of protein in it. Not vegan if you use the butter.

You will be addicted immediately....I've been making this for years.

i like onions, chopped bacon and green olives in spanish rice

I read today a fantastic idea.

Buy as much Goya as you can, and be sure to purchase some for the food banks and soup kitchens.

All those people are liberals and it will just piss them off to no end that they'll have to eat it or go hungry.

That is what I call a win-win.

Sounds interesting. How about on a conventional stove top in a covered big pot?

Yeah just increase the water some.....and use really low heat... the Rice cookers are set up to shut off their heating elements at about 220 degrees if that helps.

6 packets of Sazon!? Damn my poop will be orange

I ate a literal shit-ton on Meskin food when I lived in Texas, still do. The secret is to toast the rice first in a little oil. That makes it fluffy, not sticky. A can of diced tomatoes or at least some tomato sauce, onions, green peppers, chicken broth instead of water, cumin, a little chili powder, salt, pepper...

Do you put the toaster setting to 2 or 7?

Cast iron pan, oil, fry the rice than add stock

Absolutely! Cast iron works the best, even baked in a cast iron dutch oven.

Trump Organization Inc. stock, for that rich flavored Maga rice. it's so good they had to build a wall to keep the Meskins from coming here for it.
