This is an interesting problem, because the children would have to spend most of their lives within centrifuges to develop the muscles for regular work. I guess that when generations grow up as space fighters and never visit earth, the centrifugal rotation may be just built in every space station, or the mechanical systems of space stations could be scaled down for reduced human activation force. I would still want at least the girl soldiers to have good sporty shapes there, so I vote for the building of the centrifuges instead of the down scaling. Then we could station children also at planets or moons slightly larger than Earth, to help them naturally grow bigger muscles, so when they lose some in space, it is not a real loss.

The militarization of space is supposed to be against international law.
Which is why every nation does it so slowly and in a subversive fashion. Maybe this law needs changing, to bring it out in the open, and appropriate the correct amount of money for it. This would boost trade too, in many western deindustrialized slum nations too.

So, under this condition, radiation is only a race against the effectiveness of this error correction program, not an immediate killer. The lack of atmosphere is a bigger problem, but geologists indicate, that even on Earth, plants started in an oxygen less atmosphere, full of sulfur and nitrogen, and there are some that don't even use the atmosphere but minerals only, I think.

If you look at the makeup of matter, it resembles a molecule, atom, simple and higher molecule makeups. Did it ever occur to anyone that we just might be a test in someones Petri Dish? No theory to it. The sun only last so long and then it flares up and goes down to a red dwarf. Planets 1,2,3 and 4 gets hit with the flareup dead on. In about 3.5 billion years, this happens. Not to worry, Earth will still be around. Of course it will be a cold charred wasted piece of rock. Maybe someday it might get an atmosphere back but why bother.
 
Hmmm. Who designed this solar system giving us no life boat when we screw up earth? So unfair.

He gave us more than we need on the Earth. It's not his fault that we are going to screw it up so bad. We have over populated for the most part. Our population can't take the hard times and even without us screwing the pooch ourselves, hard times do come naturally. Countries with the ability feed and water itself have the worst poverty through the raping of the populance. Imagine if we didn't allow that. Africa, South America and Asia has the ability feed, house and water their entire population. Instead, Man just keep screwing things up and the Rich get Richer while the Poor get poorer beyond belief.

We have a chance if we take it to make it to a point where the stars are our back yard. If we keep going like we are, I don't see ever happening. Remember, we have about 3 billion years before this solar system is a goner.
Well I meant it as a joke, but you are right. By the way, an array of rotating space stations may work too.

If you look at the makeup of matter, it resembles a molecule, atom, simple and higher molecule makeups. Did it ever occur to anyone that we just might be a test in someones Petri Dish? At what point does that Being just say, Oops and flush the entire universe down one really, really big drain. Wouldn't that be a hoot.

No theory to it. The sun only last so long and then it flares up and goes down to a red dwarf. Planets 1,2,3 and 4 gets hit with the flareup dead on. In about 3.5 billion years, this happens. Some calculations were done that Earth will lose its orbital momentum when it will be moving through solar material, so it will be falling into the sun. To my understanding, the universal heat death theory is about the entire universe expanding so much, that the distances between elementary particles becomes much larger than what all the physical forces can cover, so every heat resonance stops. And where resonance is not detectable, the location of particles is not detectable either, so the whole thing disappears.
