Does any one here beleive meaningfull gun control laws are going to be made? I do not! Not much will change in this arena. Allowing private citizens to own arms to protect themselves has inherent risk. The risk is larger when you take away that right. I am not jumping up and down for the typical american to have a gun at this point. Things have changed. People do not grow up out doors these days and have not been taught the care and respect for thier tools as they have in the past. This can be fixed by taking a page out of Isreals book. I think we should require every man women to serve in the military for some period of time. They woould learn the type of respect and care for thier tools in military traiining. This would also likely give each and every person more respect for thier country and their fellow man, not to mention the health aspects of the physical training. Proly never happen but I think it is a good idea.
